Monster Mayhem - The Haunted Village

The Haunted Village features three complete and decaying haunted attractions including the revamped Haunted Mansion and Morbid Clown Manor, an eerie above-ground graveyard where disturbing VooDoo spirits and fiendish ghouls wander amongst the crypts, fog-filled pathways and creepy catacombs lined with creatures and worse and much more. Allow 2-1/2 hours for the entire attraction.

Wicked West Halloween Fest
When: Oct. 10-12, 16-19, 21-31 and Nov. 1-2. Opens at 6 p.m.

The 115-acre Bonnie Springs Ranch Wicked West Halloween Fest will feature an 1800s haunted ghost town, a haunted train ride, three haunted houses, a haunted carnival and a midway. The event will also feature nightly stage entertainment and live bands, street shows, celebrity appearances and more. Haunted Harvest at Springs Preserve
When: 5-10 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, beginning Oct. 16-31

The eight-acre "boo-tanical" garden will be transformed, to fright and delight people of all ages. Muster up the courage to take a haunted hayride throughout the trails or bring a smile to the little ones with "Safe Street" trick-or-treating. Entertainment will feature local high "ghouls" band performances in the Garden Amphitheater, theremin (a Russian instrument that is played without human touch) demonstrations on the balcony of the Springs Cafe and hauntingly good performances by The Ghosts of Shakespeare from Theatre Las Vegas. In addition, those who dare can enjoy storytelling, professional musical entertainment and surprise spooky characters that roam throughout the Preserve.

Glendale Scary Corn Maze
Where: 30 minutes north of Las Vegas off Interstate 15 at exit 90
When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon.-Sat. (not haunted during these hours) and 7-11 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (for the haunted corn maze). Wednesdays are group nights and are by appointment only. Open all month long during Octorber.

A 20-acre haunted corn maze. Special events include Rockstar Karaoke with Myke & Miranda on Oct. 24. There will be a beer tent for those 21 and over and a Halloween party on Oct. 31. The party starts at 4 p.m. and features a huge BBQ, live music from Evenflow, fun, games, ghosts and a hayride. There will also be a costume contest. Bring a can of food and received a dollar of of admission.

Electro House of Horrors

13th annual Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball

42nd annual Beaux Arts Ball

The biggest Halloween costume party of the year, the Beaux Arts Ball is a Las Vegas tradition dating back more than 40 years. Born as a private party for Strip headliners to lose themselves in costumed fantasy, the Beaux Arts Ball is open to everyone who dares to enjoy. The night features live performances by cast members of Las Vegas production shows, dancing, costume contests and the most outrageous costumes seen anywhere in Las Vegas.


Hawaiian Tropic Zone's Trick or Treats Celebration
When: 11 p.m. Oct. 30
Where: Planet Hollywood
Win a "Booooob Job" at Hawaiian Tropic Zone's Trick or Treats celebration on Oct. 30. Girls will have 90 minutes to gather as much candy as they can from everyone inside Hawaiian Tropic Zone. At 12:30 a.m., the five girls who have the most candy will take to the catwalk to vie for the free breast augmentation. In the end, one winner will be determined by the crowd of onlookers. The breast augmentation is courtesy of Dr. Pancholi of Cosmetic Surgery of Las Vegas.

To register for the contest, please e-mail TrickOrTreats@Rieserest.com. After 50 girls sign-up for the competition, registration will be closed. Men are not eligible to compete or win. Tryst Nightclub's HERO-WEEN

Tryst will host a comic book hero-themed party Oct. 30 during its weekly "Affair Thursdays" event. The 12,000-square-foot nightclub will be decorated in a comic book hero motif with members of the staff dressed as his or her favorite comic book star. There will be costume contests for sexiest costume, best superhero costume and best overall costume with $20,000 in cash and prizes.

24th annual Houdini Seance
When: 1:26 p.m. Oct. 31 (seating begins at 12:30 p.m.)

Dixie Dooley began the Las Vegas Houdini Seance in the 1980's and it is done in conjunction with Houdini Seance's held all over the world on the day Houdini passed from this world in Detroit in 1926.

It is the original Las Vegas Houdini Seance and over the years people have come from all over the world, including celebrities and actual members of Houdini's family.

Admission is free but everyone must R.S.V.P. due to limited seating.

This Halloween, SushiSamba takes inspiration from the highly stylized, mask-like makeup and outrageously colorful costume of traditional Japanese Kabuki theater with Spooky KaBOOki. Comic book kingdom reigns this Halloween at the Heroes and Villains party inside the new South Padre at Texas Station. Defenders of the day and outlaws of the night duke it out during a CASH prize costume contest. DJ BKNY will spin Top 40 hits throughout the night and each time he plays a hero or villain song, characters can knock back a free Jell-O shot. Songs include, "Shera: Princess of Power," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Wonderwoman" and "Batman," among others. Drink specials will be abundant in addition to the Jell-O shots.

Monster Bash Halloween 2008
When: Oct. 31-Nov. 2

Halloween night will feature DJ P, DJ Crime and DJ Swamp. They will be using some of the newest technology to put together the mixing and mashing of music and video on big screens all over the venue. DJ Miss Dust will be spinning electro/breakbeat house music in the VIP Room from 1 to 5 a.m.

Nov. 1 will fature an all-star cast of today's hottest female DJ's including DJ Miss Dust, Miss Lisa, Dani Deahl and DJ Tina T. There will also be a GO Go OFF where the hottest Go Go dancers will be competeing for more than $5,000 in cash.

Nov. 2 will be Halloween all over again or "Halloween 2." This night is especially for Industry people by Industry people.

7th Annual Pug-O-Rama Picnic

The Halloween-themed event will continue to feature costume contests, prizes, raffles, and a silent auction. People's Autism Foundation Boca Park Halloween Funtown Festival

The annual Ghosts and Goblins event has been extened to three days this year. The event will feature trick-or-treating for kids on Heritage Street; a Howlin' Halloween DJ; costume contests; old-fashioned games; the Ghost Locomotive and the Abandoned Engineer; the Haunted Depot and the Spooky Caboose; the Spooky Alley featuring Guido's ghostly and gruesome pizzeria; and tje Ghost Town Scaretime Tours on the Trail of Fears.

Sponsored by the Clark County Museum Guild and open to families, especially those with children ages 12 and yonger.

3rd annual Easter Seals Trunk-or-Treat

Trunk Trick or Treat is a unique twist on traditional trick-or-treating. Instead of going door to door, kids follow a "trail" in the recreation center's parking lot. Treats are passed out from the trunks of festively decorated cars. The event also includes a Halloween costume contest for all participants. Admission is free, but a donation of two canned food items to benefit the Henderson Salvation Army is appreciated. The event is sponsored by the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department.

Freaky Fright Night Ghosts and Ghouls (for kids ages 12 and under)

Trick of Treat with Las Vegas Wranglers

All kids in costume may receive a free ticket at the Orleans Arena Box Office the night of the game. The Wranglers are also offering a safe form of trick-or-treating to all costumed kids from 6:30 PM - 7:25 PM in the concourse of the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will also hold an on-ice contest for all kids in costume. Every child will receive a prize for participation. Throughout the game, the Wranglers will be playing Halloween themed music with decorations in the concourse. All members of the Las Vegas Wranglers staff will also be in costume.

Las Vegas will host Stockton at 7:30 PM this Friday at the Orleans Arena. The team will travel to Phoenix for a game with the RoadRunners on Monday, November 2nd at 6:11 PM (PST) at U.S. Airways Center. Las Vegas will return home to host Bakersfield on Friday, November 7th at 7:30 PM and Phoenix on Saturday, November 8th at 7:30 PM.

Calvary Chapel of Spring Valley's Annual Harvest Festival

T&T Celebrates Dia de los Muertos

In celebration of the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, T&T (Tacos & Tequila) is hosting a festive brunch complete with drink specials, live music and a costume contest.

The brunch will feature an an assortment of breakfast tacos, burritos and chilaquiles. The restaurant is also offering two-for-one Casarita drink specials to add to the holiday spirit. The signature margarita, the Casarita is mixed with Hornitos Anejo Tequila, organic agave nectar, Grand Marnier and the delicious housemade margarita mix -- squeezed daily from fresh limes -- and topped off with a rim of the restaurant’s salt mixture.

Diners will also enjoy live music from the band Mariachi Tapatio and rhythmic beats from DJ Ernan. Guests looking to add a little extra flavor to the party can dress up and participate in the Day of the Dead costume contest. The best costume will win a $500 cash prize. T&T will announce the winner at the end of brunch and will take photos to commemorate the contest. Participants do not need to be present to win, but must be 21 years of age or older to enter.
