7th annual Hat's Off to Child Focus Mother's Day Tea

Beso's executive chef will introduce three new dishes sure to please mom's palette. The Mother's Day menu, in addition to the regular dining menu, will be available from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Outdoor patio dining also available.
Beso's chilled avocado soup will tantalize the taste buds, featuring hints of grapefruit, topped with crab and micro cilantro, available for $14. A petite filet and half main lobster paired with potato cake brava, asparagus and a hollandaise sauce is a satisfying main course option, available for $42. And for a decadent and mouthwatering grand finale, Beso will offer fresh plantain crepes spiced with brown sugar and topped with brulee bananas, for $12 (702-254-2376).
Border Grill, Mandalay Bay
A Mother's Day Brunch will be offered 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 8 and 9. Brunch items include Huevos Rancheros, coconut crusted French toast, Santa Fe enchiladas, Machaca Chilaquiles, Breakfast Mexican with sunny side up eggs, black beans, jalapeno bacon and mizuna salad, Mexican steak and eggs, a Spanish Paella action station with saffron risotto, jumbo shrimp, grilled chicken, Spanish chortzo and roasted red peppers. Cabo Wabo Cantina, Miracle Mile Shops, Planet Hollywood
Cabo Wabo will host a Rockin' Mariachi Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In addition to Cabo Wabo's traditional menu, the Mariachi Brunch will offer Mexican specialties including chorizo, egg and cheese tacos, a big breakfast burrito filled with chorizo, scrambled eggs and cheese, and huevos rancheros featuring two corn tortillas topped with chorizo, scrambled eggs, red sauce and cheese. Menu items range from $5 to $14. Drink specialties include Bloody Marias, micheladas and classic mimosas, available for $6. Carmel Room, Rampart Casino, J.W. Marriott
The Carmel Room will serve a Mother's Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for $38 per person. Guests will be treated to a wide spread of delectable menu options including a pastry basket chock full of warm muffins, cinnamon rolls and sticky pecan rolls, fruit compote with fresh assorted melon balls and fresh berries with Chambord syrup. The brunch entrees will include a choice of Maryland lump crab meat and asparagus omelet with mornay sauce; quiche forestiere with a savory custard made of fresh cream, eggs, mushrooms, cheese and green onions in a flaky crust; crusted cinnamon swirled French toast coated with crushed frosted flakes and pecan with Vermont maple syrup; fettuccini alfredo and fresh broccoli, lamb chops Carmel marinated in olive oil, garlic and shallots broiled medium rare with bordelaise sauce, sour cream and horseradish potato pancakes; and a petite steak and lobster cake featuring grilled filet mignon with pan fried Maine lobster cake and sauce amoricaine. A dessert cart of fresh pastries will be presented tableside.
Carmel Room will also feature a Mother's Day dinner starting at 4 p.m. in addition to the regular menu for various prices.
Appetizer choices include chilled asparagus soup with black olive couton and corn shoots or roasted Maryland soft-shell crab salad with heirloom tomato, roasted wild mushrooms, green garlic, baby lettuces and banyuls vinaigrette. Guests have a choice of entree from "crispy skin" striped bass with fingerling potato, spring peas, white asparagus, parsley and lemon sauce or steak au poivre with creamy horseradish potato, spring squash and cognac veal glace. CUT, The Palazzo
CUT will be offering guests a diverse array of flavorful dishes on its Mother's Day menu. Items will include a refreshing Austrian White Asparagus Salad with upland cress, aged balsamic and sauce grebiche; Sauteed Dover Sole a La "Meuniere" perfectly prepared with preserved lemon and parsley; Maine Lobster served with black truffle sabayon. Guests wanting to end their meal with the perfect touch of sweetness can indulge in Cannelle Popovers with warm market cherries and pistachio ice cream (702-607-6300).
Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Paris Las Vegas
Eiffel Tower Restaurant will have a special Mother's Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. featuring the cuisine of Chef Joho. Each mom will receive a special gift (702-948-6937).
Hash House A Go Go
Mother's Day brunch specials will include Roast Chicken "Betsy" (Benny) -- a fresh split biscuit with spinach, mushrooms and house roasted chicken topped with scrambled eggs and trimmed with basil pesto cream, all served with griddled mashed potatoes and fresh fruit. Add a glass of bubbly for just $5. Sally's "Wild Child" Mushroom Hash -- Portabello, shitake, enoki and oyster mushrooms; fresh shaved corn; asparagus; sundried tomato; and queso fresco on crispy potatoes with eggs, fruit garnish and a buttermilk biscuit. Mango, Peach or Cinnamon Pancakes served with whipped cream. Mama Margie's Brunch Favorite - salmon stuffed with shrimp and served on corn mashed potatoes, all topped with sundried tomato basil cream. Stella's Shrimp Quesadilla - flour tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, sauteed shrimp, market tomato, brie cheese and griddled mash, all topped with basil pesto cream.
A special drink menu will also be available, including tasty treats such as blueberry margaritas, Gruet Rose sparkling wine and strawberry brambles, among others. Limited reservation times will be offered at the Sahara location from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and at the Imperial Palace location from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. All other times will be first come, first served (Sahara location: 702-804-4646 or Imperial Palace: 702-254-4646).
Morton's
Morton's will offer a special Mother's Day menu from 4 to 10 p.m. Cost is $59 per person. Menu includes choice of Morton's salad or Caesar salad; choice of single cut filet mignon with bearnaise sauce or Filet Oskar with asparagus, jumbo lump crab and bernaise sauce or broiled salmon filet with Buerre Blanc sauce or Colosssal Shrimp Alexander with beurre blanc sauce or Chicken Christopher with garlic beurre blanc sauce; choice of vegetable or potato; and choice of creme brulee or double chocolate mousse (702-893-0703).
MOzen Bistro, Mandarin Oriental
A special menu from Chef Shawn Armstrong will be served from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and includes a variety of limitless passed items as well as a main course and full dessert and cheese buffet to finish.

One Six Sky Lounge, Eastside Cannery
One Six Sky Lounge is offering a special champagne brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $19.99 adults, $9.99 for children ages 5 to 10. The seafood station will include cocktail shrimp, crab claws, shucked oysters and assorted smoked fish, smoked and cured salmon, capers and creme fraiche. Hot entrees in chaffer will include classic eggs benedict, cheese blintz with fresh fruit coulis, smoked bacon and sweet potato sausage. A cheese cart with imported and domestic cheeses and baskets of fresh and grilled bread will be available, as well as whole fresh fruit and preserves with sliced melons, pineapple and fresh berries. The crisp salad selection includes winter greens with assorted dressings; Caesar salad with focaccia croutons and shaved parmesan reggiano; sliced heirloom tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil; antipasto with grilled vegetables and asparagus and a tomato mozzarella napoleons balsamic reduction spiced apple walnut salad.
Guests can stop by the omelet station for eggs to order prepared by a chef while the carving station will feature succulent meats such as rosemary crusted prime rib; chicken roulade with goat cheese, crabmeat and spinach; lemon pesto marinated rack of lamb with chipotle onion jam and coconut boniato puree. Perfectly paired sides consist of roasted Yukon au gratin potatoes, fresh steamed vegetables with herbed butter and southern squash casserole. Decadent desserts include wild strawberry mousse in chocolate linen cups; pistachio pot de creme with strawberry gelee tiramisu; chocolate creme with strawberry sauce and cream; white chocolate brulee with pinot noir strawberries; strawberry macaroon crisp; strawberry coconut trifle and strawberry rum pot.
Children can pick from their own buffet that features assorted finger sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and French fries and cookies.
Panevino Ristorante
Mother's Day specials include thinly-sliced raw New York strip with argula and shaved grana padano cheese drizzled with classic cipriani dressing; homemade tagliatelle with sauteed Canadian lobster tail, sun-dried tomatoes and peas in a creamy brandy sauce; and fresh profiteroles filled with homemade whipped cream drizzled with warm chocolate sauce. Postrio Bar & Grill, Grand Canal Shoppes, The Venetian
Postrio Bar & Grill will be celebrating all day long by offering both brunch and dinner specials. Brunch will be served from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and will feature Maryland Crab Benedict with vine-ripe tomatoes and bearnaise and crepes filled with mascarpone cheese, topped with lemon zabaglione and fresh market berries. Pan Roasted John Dory with English pea puree, asparagus, pearl onions, wild mushrooms and champagne sauce will be offered during dinner service. A decadent Chocolate Souffle with vanilla creme anglaise and Grand Marnier-scented ice cream will be offered all day (702-796-1110).

Promenade Cafe will offer a Mother's Day menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Entrees include choice of cream of asparagus soup or spring blossom salad with chevre stuffed crispy squash blossom, arugala, spring greens, cherry tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers and citrus parsley vinaigrette. Guests can choose from two entrees: seared halibut with basil, garlic mashed potatoes, jumbo asparagus, lobster butter sauce and crispy pancetta and chives for $15.95 or rosemary-grilled filet mignon with au gratin potatoes, sauteed spinach and balsamic demi glace for $19.95. Finish the meal with Dutch apple pie a la mode with warm savory crumb top, vanilla bean ice cream and cinnamon dust (702-507-5900).
Rampart Buffet, Rampart Casino, J.W. Marriott
Rampart Buffet will host a special Mother's Day brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for $17.95 per person.
Refreshing bellinis, chilled champagne and mimosas will be flowing at the specialty drink station while the seafood on ice includes ceviche, white shell clams, chilled shrimp, crab legs, smoked white fish, pickled herring and smoked lox. The salad bar is full of crisp options including baby spinach, classic Caesar, Asian chicken, Belgium endive and orange walnut, Greek, bay shrimp and fresh dill cream, green beans and shitake mushroom and chilled melons and berries. Soups of the day are cream of asparagus and matzo ball soup.
Mother's Day breakfast brunch specialties will be served until 3:30 p.m. and include favorite items such as sunrise lox and scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, fried breakfast potatoes, hickory smoked bacon, sausage links, chorizo sausage and egg burritos and biscuits with country gravy. A waffle bar will dish up French toast, Belgium and pecan waffles, black forest bacon chips and blueberry and cheese blintz, all served with choice of blueberry, strawberry and blackberry toppings. Flambeed crepes with chocolate, cherry, pineapple-coconut and orange sauces, or creme anglaise and fresh whipped cream will be available for a sweet dessert.
Chinese specialties include pot stickers, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, kung pao shrimp, Chinese ribs, red pork loin, white and fried rice, beef broccoli and baby bok choy with garlic sauce. There is something for everyone with the vast array of specialty entrees such as macadamia crusted sea bass, buttermilk fried chicken, sage dressing stuffed pork loin, stuffed breast of chicken, roasted tarragon wedge potato, fresh broccoli and cauliflower, garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus spears, Riviera vegetables, honey-almond roasted chicken, rigatoni alla carbonara, lamb chops with violet mustard and herbs, shrimp "fra" Diablo, steak au poivre, chicken parmigiana and peas and corn. Succulent meats from the carving station include herb crusted salmon fillet, brown sugar glazed ham, smoked breast of turkey, prime rib of beef or roast cherry and orange duckling. Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted with the specialty desserts such as mousse cake, tiramisu, pineapple upside-down cake, assorted cheesecakes, chocolate raspberry and vanilla ice cream, miniature French pastries and a chocolate fountain with strawberry short cake.
Roy's

Society Cafe, Encore
Society Cafe Encore's Executive Chef Kim Canteenwalla has created a special three-course menu for Mother's Day. Available from 5 pm to closing, guests can choose from three appetizers, three entrees and two different desserts. Every mother will receive a complimentary flower to celebrate the day. Cost is $45 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Appetizers include tasting salad, dueling tomatoes or mac & cheese bites. Choice of entree includes Maine lobster and jumbo crab pot pie, a surf & turf featuring a petite filet and tiger shrimp skewer, and trenne featuring prosciutto, parmesan truffle cream and spring pease. Spago, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
Spago will celebrate Mother's Day by offering special brunch items and freshly-prepared breakfast pastries in addition to a full lunch menu. For dessert, a delicious Chocolate Souffle with banana gelato and raspberry coulis will be available during lunch and dinner service (702-369-6300).
Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck, Springs Preserve
The Springs Cafe will host a Mother's Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The chefs have created a special menu including; hand-carved roast beef, sushi and pasta stations; Asian-inspired dishes such as miso-soy glazed white fish on lemongrass jasmine rice, Chinois chicken salad and a savory noodle salad; classic favorites eggs benedict with hollandaise, house cured salmon and honey smoked salmon, chicken apple sausage and applewood smoked bacon; gourmet inventions including parmesan mascarpone polenta and toasted pasta salad. And don't forget the assorted breakfast pastries, delightful desserts and much more. In addition to smooth jazz and breathtaking panoramic view of the Las Vegas Strip from the Cafe balcony, guests can enjoy the serenity found in the Springs Preserve Gardens and witness the Trails in full bloom. SushiSamba will feature a special brunch menu from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, moms will receive a $10 gift certificate as well as a take-home treat of traditional Brazilian candies called brigaderios. The brunch will be served 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All moms that come in for the festive Mariachi Brunch on Mother's Day will receive complimentary coffee-flavored flan along with celebrated Chef Richard Sandoval's signature Mexican breakfast selections. In addition, the brunch will feature a high-energy Mariachi band, two-for-one margaritas and Bloody Marias, and a variety of authentic brunch selections, making it the perfect place to treat mom this Mother's Day.
Menu entrees include chilaquiles, a flavorful mix of marinated chicken, red or green sauce, panela cheese, crema fresca and onion served on a crispy flour tortilla, priced at $14; T&T's signature breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, Oaxaca cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and salsa roja, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and priced at $13; and T&T's spin on huevos rancheros with two eggs and black bean puree served with ranchero sauce atop a crispy corn tortilla, priced at $13. T.G.I. Friday's will offer mom's three courses -- appetizer, entree and dessert -- for just $16.99 at all of its locations.
Top of the World, Stratosphere
The Grand Buffet will open at 10 a.m. with seating until 3 p.m. and the regular dinner menu will open at 4 p.m. The buffet is $39.99 or $42.99 served with unlimited champagne.
The buffet will feature shrimp cocktail, Dungeness crab claws, oysters on the half shell, ahi tuna poke and lobster ceviche with assorted sauces.
Antipasto selections include heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella with balsamic vinaigrette and basil, Mediterranean olives medley with pickled garlic, Tabouleh salad with bulgur wheat with fresh mint, grilled spring vegetables assortment, bruschetta crostinis with caponata, chili citrus Waldorf salad, baba ghanoush and tatziki, sliced tropical fruit, assorted Danish pastries and a gourmet selection of artisan bread rolls and Caesar salad.
The hot station will feature roasted vegetable frittata, crab benedict vol au vent with sundried tomato hollandaise, petite huevos rancheros with black beans and chorizo, Yukon gold potato gratin with four cheeses, apple wood smoked bacon and chicken apple sausage, seared miso marinated Scottish salmon with baby bok choy, roasted organic chicken breast "Grand-mere" style and bacon wrapped pork dijonnaise and calvados apples.
At the hot action station, guests can choose a Belgian waffle with selection of gourmet toppings, ancho chili turkey breast and pepper crusted New York with choice of peppercorn sauce and red wine mushroom.
A chocolate fountain with assorted fruits and treats and a selection of petite pastries at the dessert station serves as a sweet ending to the mea l(702-380-7777).
Trattoria del Lupo, Mandalay Bay
Lupo is set to deliver a variety of tantalizing tastes for guests celebrating Mother's Day this year. The menu will include delicious dishes like Maine Lobster Salad with heirloom tomato carpaccio, butter lettuce, lemon, basil and pesto; Prime Beef Carpaccio with celery hearts, roasted cipolinis, parsley, parmigiano reggiano and aged balsamic; Blue Prawn Risotto with lemon scented carnaroli rice, zucchini, carrots and extra virgin olive oil; and a savory Osso Bucco, red wine braised baby veal shank with ricotta gnocchi, garlic spinach and horseradish cream (702-740-5522).
