Each year, thousands of revelers flock to Las Vegas to view multiple fireworks displays and party both on and off the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.

America's Party: Las Vegas New Year 2008
The theme of the show is "The Best is Yet to Come" and will feature swing and big band tunes while the pyrotechnics blast from seven hotel rooftops.
Fireworks by Grucci, which produced the 2006 show, will use 50 technicians to set up an 8 minute, 20 second show. The company created several new fireworks for this year's show, including one that buzzes like bees in the sky.
Closures on the Strip are likely and are determined by the police department. Streets that run parallel to the Strip likely will remain open, while exits off Interstate 15 from Russell Road to Sahara Avenue will likely be closed. Fireworks Display and Ice Skating Show at MonteLago Village Resort, Lake Las Vegas
MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas will by ring in the New Year with a fireworks extravaganza as the backdrop to "Celebrations on Ice," a holiday show on a floating ice rink atop Lake Las Vegas that is sure to delight all holiday revelers. The ice skating show will begin at 8 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9.

New Year. No Limits will feature action sports stars Robbie Maddison and Rhys Millen performing two Red Bull Experiments: Maddison, a freestyle motocross star from Australia, will attempt to jump the length of a football field to set a new motorcycle distance jumping world record and Millen, a champion drifter and movie stunt driver hailing from New Zealand, will attempt the first-ever back-flip of an off-road racing truck. Representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records will be in attendance to validate each jump.
When: The first jump will air in Part One of the broadcast from 8:15 - 9:30 p.m. PT. The next jump will take place during Part Two, from 11:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. PT. Both Red Bull Experiments will be aired live on ESPN's New Year. No Limits broadcast on Monday, December 31, immediately following coverage of the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
