Alize, The Palms
Alize will offer a special menu on Valentine's Day. There will be three seatings at 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Amuse brouche: huckleberry gelee with sweet potatoe mousse. First course: roasted king crab, celery root and black truffle bisque with crispy crab cake and green apple remoulade or Andre's foie gras terrine with espelette pepper crusted ahi tuna, toasted brioche; smoke bacon and roasted pineapple vinaigrette. Second course: warm duck confit, apple and spinach salad or pepper-seared veal loin witg clemetine, arugula and white truffle salad. Third course: lemon kiwi sorbet. Fourth course: herb crusted rack of lamb stuffed with Merguez sausage and dried apricots or pan-seared Muscovy duck breast with poached pear and foie gras tarte tatin or green peppercorn crusted filet mignon with caramelized onion and potato croustillant, green and white asparagus and cognac cream sauce or sauteed California sea bass with roasted cauliflower mousseline, roasted salsify, melted leeks and black truffle glaze. Andre's will offer a special menu on Valentine's Day. There are three seatings -- 6, 8 and 10 p.m. Amuse: heart-shaped ravioli poached in rose water. First course: terrine of duck foie gras with confit of duck leg and duck "prosciutto" and black cherry confiture and brioche toast or spicy crayfish bisque with lemon cream and Tio Pepe sherry. Second course: organic New England sea scallop sausage in a golden puff pastry, holland leeks and Maine lobster sauce or braised Provimi veal cheeks with saffron risotto, crispy gremolata and natural jus. Third course -- pan seared bacon wrapped monkish loin with organic red lentils, sauteed spinach and nicoise olive tapenade and thyme-sherry vinaigrette or chicken breast stuffed with smoked Virginia ham and gruyere cheese with wild mushroom cannelloni, tomato fondue and root vegetable and roasted chicken jus or roasted rack of Colorado lamb with mustard crusted loin, piquillo pepper glazed lamb ribs and chick pea tabbouli and lamb jus harissa or grilled prime strip steak with horseradish scented potato puree, crispy onion rings, jumbo asparagus and cabernet sauvignon sauce. BOA Steakhouse, Forum Shops at Caesars Palace
The special Valentine's Day menu will feature choice of organic watercress salad with seasonal fruit, cherry tomatoes and white balsamic vinaigrette or Australian kobe carpaccio with watercress, creamy horseradish, caperberries and parsley; choice of pan seard red snapper with fava beans, radish salad and orange glaze sauce or petit filet mignon with mix shemji mushrooms, fingerling potatoes and madera sauce; and mix berries pirouettes with mascarpone ice cream for dessert. Border Grill, Mandalay Bay
Border Grill will offer a special three-course dinner for $45 per person Feb. 13-15. Choice of starters include ancho cursted baked brie or roasted poblano bisque or Dungeness crab cakes. Choice of entrees include Kobe beef short ribs with poblano chile white truffle polenta and baby heirloom tomato salad; or macadamia crusted mahi mahi with sauteed spinach, habanero salsa and cilantro and roasted poblano chile risotto or seafood paella valenciana with tiger shrimp, mussels, calamari, bay scallops, chicken breast and spanish chorizo in saffron risotto with roasted red peppers, peas and aji amarillo aioli. Cafe Martorano, Rio
Cafe Martorano will offer several specialities in addition to its regular menu on Valentine's Day. Specialties include choice of eggplant rollatini or fried mozzarella stack for a starter. Canyon Ranch Grill will offer a special menu for Valentine's Day. Appetizer -- Sweet poke prawn paired with Bubbling Bamboo Sake. In an effort to help couples avoid the weekend crowds, all locations of Carrabba's Italian Grill will host "Dal Cuore" (From the Heart) Nights Feb. 11 and 12. Carve, Eastside Cannery

Casa Cocina, Eastside Cannery
The special Valentine's Day dinner will feature soup, two Mexican-style crab cakes, grilled rib eye steak served with Mexican rice and beans and cheesecake topped with strawberry sauce. Cost is $18.99.

CatHouse Restaurant, Luxor
A four-course, $65 tasting menu will be offered at CatHouse for the special occasion. Wine lovers will enjoy a select wine pairing for an additional $45. Simon will also be serving the signature CatHouse menu, expanding the culinary selections throughout the evening. Choice of appetizers include roasted baby beet salad or an endive salad. The second course will be pan seared diver scallops resting on a bed of cauliflower risotto with flavorful pancetta and glazed salsify to garnish or wild mushroom ravioli prepared with parmesan and aromatic sage will please the palette. Entree selections include either sustainable pan seared salmon with roasted potato, melted leeks, and finished with a burgundy reduction or petite prime filet and grilled tiger shrimp together with chanterelle mushrooms and horseradish jus. The Charcoal Room is featuring a five course Valentine's dinner that begins with roasted corn chowder, followed by stuffed portabellini mushrooms. Entree selections include your choice of scampi-style sea bass, veal osso bucco or a six-ounce filet topped with a butter-poached lobster tail; and for dessert, strawberries and cream in a chocolate cup. Dos Caminos Las Vegas, The Palazzo
Dos Caminos has created a special menu for Valentine's Day based on the marriage of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera in 1929 - one of the most famous alliances in the history of artists. The menu will feature Agua de Jamaica - $6; Pomegranate Margarita - $13; Tamales de Huitlacoche - $14; Dos Chiles Rellenos - $17; Slow Roasted Pork Posole - $21; and Capirotada - $7.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Paris Las Vegas
The Eiffel Tower Restuarant will offer a special multi-course tasting menu for Valentine's Day. Course 1 -- selection of Amuse Bouche (French for single, bite-sized hors d'ouevres.) Course 2 -- choice of braised cold duck poached Bartlett pears, sauteed Casco Bay sea scallops or marinated jumbo shrimp with coriander Mandarin vinaigrette. Course 3 -- choice of sauteed breast of free-range chicken and macaroni gratin, beef tenderloin and five peppercorn sauce, baked wild salmon in thyme jus or fricassee of twelve vegetables and mushroom tagine. Course 4 -- choice of passion and mango creme brulee, warm chocolate cake and malted milk ice cream or champagne and pineapple meringue. There will be three seatings -- the sunset seating at 4 p.m. for $95 per person; the gala dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. for $145 per person; and the late night dinner from 10 to 11 p.m. for $95 per person. The Valentine's Day menu for two includes fresh Pacific oyster with vanilla truffle oil and white balsamic; choice of lobster bisque or tomato and English cucumber salad with micro greens, blood orange and basil vinaigrette; a 24 oz. filet mignon with bearnaise and bordelaise sauces, a bouquet of baby vegetables and roasted fingerling potatoes; and individual heart shaped chocolate terrine with fresh raspberries and passion fruit sauce for dessert. ENVY Steakhouse, Renaissance Las Vegas
ENVY will offer a four-course, prix frixe menu with "his and hers" selections and romatince themes for Valentine's Day. The four-course menu is full of sensual culinary delights such as crispy ginger snapper, coriander scented crab and vanilla butter poached snapper. The main entree consists of anise-scented Black Angus filet mignon, accompanied by truffle carrot mashed potatoes and garlic oil blanched asparagus. Giorgio Ristorante, Mandalay Bay
Giorgio will offer a special three-course menu for $99 per couple from Feb. 10-14. The menu will feature lobster soup with three crab meatballs and wild mushrooms crespella with porcini fritters; ravioli seafood in a creamy basil pesto sauce and roasted veal with sage butter alongside artichokes risotto; and chocolate madness for dessert. 702-920-2700.

Grand Cafe, Santa Fe Station

Hachi is serving up a delicious multi-course menu for only $85 per person or $135 per person with beverage pairings. The Sahara is offering a special dinner and show package for Valentine's Day. Jerry's Famous Coffee Shop features several Valentine's Day dinner specials, at a variety of prices. Highlighted items are Cupid's Twin Lobsters which consists of two six-ounce Canadian lobster tails with lemon butter for $23.89, Filet and Lobster that includes an eight-ounce filet and a seven-ounce lobster for $25.89 and Steak Diane made up of a 12-ounce strip steak tenderized and seasoned to perfection and served on a hot cast iron platter topped with sauteed mushroom caps for $13.89. Morton's The Steakhouse is featuring a special four course sweetheart dinner for two on Valentine's Day. The menu includes: Course 1 -- Big Eye Tuna Crudo, Course 2 -- Caprese Salad, Course 3 -- Spinach Tortellini with House-Made Ricotta, Course 4 -- 22 oz Porterhouse, Maine Lobster and Truffle Shoestring Potatoes and finally, Tiramisu and Chocolate Covered Strawberries for dessert. Origin India Restaurant
The Valentine's Day special menu will offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian courses sure to satisfy every palette, as they consist of aphrodisiac ingredients that are distinctively Indian and a perfect choice for this year's romantic and sensual dinner.

The four-course menu includes a first course of Masala cauliflower panna cotta with eggplant caviar. The second course options include wild Alaskan salmon marinated in mustard and dill wrapped in zucchini ribbons served with a mini smoked salmon naan, tandoori roasted pheasant breast marinated in a sandalwood powder and Greek style yogurt and served with garlic beetroot chutney, samosa filled with minced clove smoked lamb loin served on a spicy lamb patties with alfalfa and rose petal salad, or Khichdi style Arborio rice with wild mushrooms served with a spicy mushroom flatbread and garnished with truffle oil and balsamic vinegar reduction. "Defending the Caveman" will be celebrating Valentine's Day with a wedding. Las Vegas residents Mickie Hollander (72) and Gene Adler (80) will be united in matrimony following the 3 p.m. performance of "Defending the Caveman." Friends and family of the couple will be in attendance and audience members are invited to stay for all the festivities. Excalibur will provide a reception for all wedding attendees following the ceremony.
