Gold Coast awarding $100,000 in giveaway


The Gold Coast is giving away $100,000 this month in the Good Fortune Giveaway. Every Thursday at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., the casino will draw 10 winners who can choose a fortune cookie and win up to $5,000 in cash or free play. Club Coast members can earn entries playing slots, table games, bingo, keno, live poker or in the race and sports book.

Every week through the end of football season, all Hard Rock Back Stage Pass members are entitled to one free $5 four-team or seven-team parlay card.

Tuscany players hitting a four-of-a-kind (without wild cards) in 5s-through-10s on a quarter-or-higher video poker machine on Tuesdays or Thursdays can select an envelope from the "Secret Bag" and win from $5 to $100 in free slot play. Remember to turn your change light on and have the slot attendant verify your hand to receive your bonus.

Palace Station is giving away free slot play in October. Boarding Pass members earning 500 points ($500-$1,000 coin-in; no point redemption required) receive $5 in free slot play. Those earning 1,000 points get $12; 2,000 points get $24, 3,500 points get $40; 4,500 get $50 and 8,500 points receive $100. All free slot play from this promotion must be used within 72 hours after it was earned.

All month long, El Cortez players winning a jackpot of $200-plus on slots or $300-plus on video poker can pick up a logo jacket or a $10 gasoline card (Mobil/Exxon, Arco or Shell) or a $10 gift card redeemable at Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Walgreens, Sears or Smith's Grocery.
