Hard Rock Hotel giving away iPods


Monday through April 22, the Hard Rock Hotel will give away six iPods every weekday and 10 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The nightly drawings will take place at 7 and 8 p.m., and players will have two hours to redeem their prizes. Backstage Pass members will receive one entry for every five points ($100 coin-in on slots, $200 coin-in video poker) earned on their cards during the promotion.

There is a limit of two iPods per person. Also, players earning 2,000 points in a 24-hour period can receive a free iPod Nano.

Six times every Tuesday through June 26, Terrible's will draw for two $250, three $200 and four $150 cash prizes. All carded play from March 15 through April 24 is eligible for the April drawings; carded play from April 25 through May 29 is eligible for the May drawings and play from May 30 through June 26 counts toward the June drawings.

Players have a choice of three drums in which to earn and deposit tickets, and must be present at the drawings to win.

All cash winners also will be awarded one entry to the Nissan 350Z grand prize drawing on June 26. For this drawing, there is a limit of one entry per person, and you must be present to win.

In honor of tax season, the Gold Coast is holding an April 16 drawing for two $1,040 prizes and one $10,400 prize.

Both slot players (using their Club Coast card) as well as table players will randomly receive tickets from Tuesday through April 16, plus all new Club Coast members will receive 10 free drawing tickets.

The drawing will take place at 7 p.m., and winners must be present.

All Fiesta Henderson bingo players on Sunday will receive an Elvis dauber.

On both April 14 and April 28, the Nevada Palace will give away a first prize of $2,500 plus a 42-inch plasma TV, five $500 prizes plus 7-inch LCD combo TV/DVD players, and 10 $250 prizes.

Guests will receive one drawing ticket for every 100 points ($100 coin-in) earned during the month. The casino also is giving away a "75th Anniversary of Gaming" T-shirt for every 300 points earned on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.

This month's jackpot gift at the El Cortez is "Caps and Candy."

Players hitting a $200-plus jackpot on slots or a $300-plus jackpot on video poker will receive either a Major League Baseball cap (your choice of team, while supplies last) or a 1-pound box of See's Candy.
