‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ subtitle leaked?

With the announcement of the cast for “Star Wars: Episode VII” last week people can’t get enough “Star Wars” news.

The newest rumor floating around is that the subtitle for the new film has been leaked. Every “Star Wars” film to date has carried a subtitle, which means it seems logical that Episode VII would follow suit.

According to Ain’t It Cool News, the new subtitle is “The Ancient Fear.”

In the article on AICN the author claims a source in J.J. Abrams’ camp confirmed the title, and that when Abrams was approached he never responded. That could either be because Abrams doesn’t want to deny it because it’s true, or that it’s so far off base that he doesn’t care to comment.

Along with the title rumor, more casting rumors are floating around as well.

The production said more casting announcements are coming and eyes are locked on Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o and Zac Efron.

Nyong’o has been rumored to join the cast for sometime and last week it was announced that another female lead will soon join the cast. Many are hoping that lead is Nyong’o.

Efron has been rumored to join the cast since the announcement of the new film and he recently said there are “irons in the fire” to bring him on board.
