The average fruit fly scoffs at the longevity of the boy band.
And the dudes in Big Time Rush, the latest Nickelodeon-assembled group of teen pop heartthrobs, are aware of as much.
"The most important thing for us is to enjoy every moment," singer-actor Carlos Pena told us earlier in the year when Big Time Rush kicked off their debut headlining tour at Planet Hollywood Resort. "For the first year, it all came so quickly. It just started rolling. We had a little talk, just amongst ourselves, and we're like, 'Let's just step back and try to enjoy every moment, because we may never get to do this again.' "
For now, the quartet, who also are featured on a TV show that bears their name, are still as hot as the temperatures outside.
They've graduated from theaters to arenas and are working constantly - even though Pena says it doesn't really feel like work to him.
"It's not like a job for me," he said. "It's just like a really cool lifestyle."
You know, at least for a little while longer.
