Black Crowes co-founder follows brother to Brooklyn Bowl at Linq

He’s followed his older brother in order of birth and tour routing alike.

Two weeks after his sibling Chris played Brooklyn Bowl, Rich Robinson comes to the same venue.

Both Chris and Rich are best known as founding members of the Black Crowes, on vocals and guitar respectively.

But whereas Chris’ more psychedelic solo work sounds like the product of a couple of handfuls of magic mushrooms, Rich’s material is more rooted in the hard-knock blues rock that the Crowes are best known for.

Rich’s latest solo record, “The Ceaseless Sight,” his third overall, finds both his passions and guitar playing suitably inflamed.

It may not be the Crowes, but it’s still a bird of the same feather.
