Palms offers swipe-and-win game; Ellis Island giving away TV

This Monday through Friday, Club Palms members can swipe their cards once a day to win prizes including a Nintendo Wii with a baseball game, an iPod Shuffle, up to $500 in free slot play, up to 8x point multipliers (not valid on full-pay and 100-percent machines), ballgame food favorites, baseball prizes and more. Cards must be swiped and prizes (except free play and point multipliers) must be redeemed from 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

At 10 p.m. Saturday, Ellis Island is giving away a flat screen TV. Drawing tickets must be earned at the tables, and the winner must be present at the drawing.

Eastside Cannery players earning 300 points ($100 coin-in on slots, $150 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required) from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Sunday will receive a Garden Buddy, a folding, portable seat with storage pockets and tools. Table players can earn one with two hours of table play with a $15 average bet.

Every Saturday in June, the Gold Coast will draw 10 names to spin a cash wheel and win up to $10,000 in cash. Both slot and table game winners can begin earning entries on Monday, and double entries will be awarded on Fridays. The Saturday drawings will take place at 8:15 p.m., and players must be present to win.

On Saturday nights through June 27, the Western is drawing for five $100 and one $500 winner. On July, 3 there will be five $500 winners, and on July 4, the casino will give away $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000 prizes. Entries can be earned by hitting $100-plus jackpots, hitting a blackjack or making a $5 food purchase. Please see the promotions booth for addition details.

All next month, players earning 499 Prime Reward points ($499 coin-in; no point redemption required) on Tuesdays at Jokers Wild or on Wednesdays at the Eldorado will receive a Tote radio.

Also throughout June, El Cortez players hitting a $200-plus slot jackpot or a $300-plus video poker jackpot will receive (players choice) an El Cortez logo Hawaiian shirt or a wallet containing $10-$1,000 in free play. Jackpot winners also receive an entry into the weekly Saturday night 40-inch LCD TV giveaway and $2,000 cash drawing. Winners must be present.

A new 10-week semester of free Bob Dancer video poker classes begins June 2 at the South Point. Most weeks offer a beginner's class from 1-2:30 p.m. and an intermediate class from 3-4:30 p.m.
