Players have chance to win $1,000 in drawing at Palms

The Palms is awarding $1,000 to each of 10 players at 7 p.m. via an electronic drawing during their "August Swipe & Win Bonanza" on Aug. 16 and 23. To earn entries, players must swipe their cards between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday. A maximum of four entries may be earned per weekly drawing. Each card swipe is a winner, with prizes ranging from car wash tokens, buffet offers, point multipliers, free slot play and other gifts. Players must activate their entries on Thursday prior to 6:50 p.m. and must be present to win.

Plaza players club members stopping by the booth and giving a new or updated e-mail address will receive their choice of 1,000 free club points (worth $2 in cashback) or a free gift.

On Wednesdays in August, Fiesta Rancho players earning 1,000 Amigo Club points ($1,000-$2,000 coin-in) can redeem them for a $10 Wal-Mart card -- up to a maximum of five cards per Wednesday. Santa Fe Station is giving away 50 cash prizes every weekend through Aug. 25. Every hour from 6 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, the casino draws five names who have a chance to win up to $1,000 cash. Boarding Pass members earn one entry with every 250 points ($250-$500 coin-in) with double entries on designated machines. Entries also can be earned playing tables, poker and bingo. Players must be present at the drawings to win.

Earn 500 Club Uno points ($500 coin-in -- no point redemption required) at Casino Montelago on Fridays in August and you can receive a $20 gas card. There is a limit of one per person per Friday.

On Labor Day (Sept. 3), the Hard Rock is giving away a Jesse Rooke Custom Bike, several custom slot machines as well as $2,000 in free slot play. Every 100 Back Stage Pass points ($100 coin-in on slots, $200 coin-in on video poker) earned between Aug. 1 and Sept. 1 gets you one ticket into the drawings -- plus the first three customers earning 300,000 points automatically will win a slot machine. We do not know at this time if you have to be present at the drawing to win, so please check the rules.
