LeAnn Rimes gets bronchitis, cancels weekend show
Remember when I was telling you that LeAnn Rimes was coming to Las Vegas to perform, and that she just posed for bikini photos during a Valentine’s Day weekend beach romp with her husband?
Well, I don’t know what happened next, but I was told on Wednesday that she has to cancel her Saturday show at Primm Valley Resorts due to bronchitis.
Sigh.
You know, incidentally, I asked LeAnn how she takes care of herself with all of her traveling. I didn’t report this answer previously, but she said she gets a massage once a week and avoids acid-reflux foods.
“I try to take care of myself, because God knows, other than my voice, my body gets taxed. I have to be careful. I’ve learned to listen to my body and not push myself, because I’m not 15 anymore, traveling on tour. I’m not old, but I feel a lot different between 32 and 15,” she said.
“I’ve had acid reflux, especially when we travel and you’re eating strange food. I eat pretty clean on the road. I avoid dairy most of the time. It can make your mucus really thick and get on your vocal cord, and you’re constantly clearing your throat.”
Mucus is the worst.
