El Cortez marks anniversary with menu of vintage dishes


In celebration of its 70th anniversary, the El Cortez, 600 E. Fremont St., has introduced a menu of vintage Las Vegas dishes -- many of them inspired by now-gone hotels -- and cocktails. Dishes served at the Flame Steakhouse include Oysters Rockefeller, Chicken Kiev and Peach Melba; vintage cocktails served at all hotel bars include the Side Car, Mint Julep and Brandy Alexander. ...
