Golfers tee up for annual festival

Grab your clubs and head to Golf Fest Vegas from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Angel Park Golf Club.

Now in its 15th year, Golf Fest offers golfers the opportunity to meet all major golf club companies to see and experience everything new in the sport.

With paid admission, attendees receive a round of golf at Angel Park Golf Club, 100 S. Rampart Blvd., and a six-month subscription to Golf Week Magazine. Cart fees and tee time restrictions will apply.

The show's highlights include PGA professional Peter Longo demonstrating trick shots at 1 p.m. each day; free lessons by the Angel Park Golf Academy, free driving range use to test the latest technology; a $50,000 putting contest; and a fashion show at 2 p.m. Saturday.
