Walsh heads Women of Faith event

Popular speaker and Bible teacher Sheila Walsh teams up with comedian and storyteller Ken Davis and "American Idol" finalist singer-songwriter Scott MacIntyre for One Day, a Women of Faith conference Saturday in Cox Pavilion at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Tropicana Avenue and Swenson Street.

Doors open at 9 a.m. and the conference runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $59 to $79 and are available by calling (888) 493-2484.

Prior to joining Women of Faith, Walsh co-hosted television's "The 700 Club" and her own talk show "Heart to Heart with Sheila Walsh" on the Family Channel. She is working on completing her master's degree in divinity.

Davis hosts the daily radio show "Lighten Up" and has traveled the world as a motivational and inspirational speaker.

MacIntyre, who is nearly blind, continues to share his music with audiences around the world.
