Sunset Station offering 'Treasure Boxes'; Sahara handing out cash


On Friday and Saturday nights through Dec. 13, Sunset Station will draw 10 winners who will be given a choice of taking $1,000 or selecting a "Treasure Box" that could contain up to $250,000. Players receive one entry for every 100 Boarding Pass points ($100-$400 coin-in) earned from Nov. 30, plus everyone gets double entries on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Entries also can be earned at the tables, bingo and poker. Players must be present at the 8:15 p.m. drawings to win.

The Sahara is giving away $500 every day though Christmas Eve. Players can earn tickets by joining Club Sahara and using your card when you play the slots, blackjack, craps, live keno or live poker. Please check at the club booth regarding exact drawing times and if you have to be present to win. While you are there, you may want to check out the Sahara's many ongoing promotions including a video poker card-of-the-day bonus, the free daily slot tournament as well as other food/drink and gaming specials offered exclusively to Las Vegas residents.

This Sunday through Thursday at Green Valley Ranch, Boarding Pass members can redeem points for Macy's gift cards. On Tuesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 18, members earning 100 points at video poker ($200-$400 coin-in; no gift redemption required) or 50 points on slots ($50 coin-in) earn a "classic gift." Those earning 500 points on video poker and 250 points on slots receive a "deluxe gift" and members earning 1,000 points on video poker or 500 points on slots get a "premium gift." Finally, on Wednesdays in December all seniors (55 and over) receive a two-for-one buffet and 5x points all day and earn points to be entered into a $5,000 free slot play slot tournament.

Both the Cannery and Eastside Cannery are giving away $25,000 this month via three Saturday night drawings (Dec. 13, 20 and 27). All players receive one entry by swiping their C.A.N. Club card, and additional entries can be earned playing the machines. The drawings (each with a top prize of $500) will take place every other hour 1-7 p.m., and players must be present to win.

Though Dec. 24, members of The Club at South Point receive 50 percent off when paying with points at all bars, restaurants, hotel, gift shop, liquor store, bingo, spa, salon showroom, movies, bowling and Prestige Travel, as well as to purchase tickets for all New Year's Eve parties.

On Tuesday and Dec. 16, Rampart players earning 550 same-day points ($1,100 coin-in on slots, $2,200 coin-in on video poker; no point redemption required) can pick up a free DVD player. On Sunday and Dec. 21 and 28, the casino will give away a free digital camera to players earning 500 same-day points.
