‘Duck Dynasty’ family talks about Las Vegas musical

Willie and Korie Robertson of the “Duck Dynasty” family met with the Las Vegas media on Wednesday to discuss the opening of their show “Duck Commander the Musical” at the Rio.

A member of the songwriting team described it as “a Christian Fiddler on the Roof.” More than 80 family members are coming in for the opening, including Uncle Si.

Willie Robertson said Las Vegas was a perfect starting point for the musical because the hit reality show is seen in almost 100 countries. He hinted that the hope is the show can end up on Broadway.

“We’re open to anything,” he said.
