Luxor

Named after Egypt's most exotic tourist destination, the Luxor is topped by one of the world's brightest beams of light (it can been seen from the space shuttle). Owned and operated by MGM Mirage.

Rooms: 4,408; 236 Jacuzzi suites in Pyramid; mini-suites and suites in Towers

In-room Amenities: Mini-suites have king bed, tub with spa jets and wet bar. Jacuzzi suites have sitting rooms; tub are next to window.

Casino: race & sports book, table games, slot machines and video poker

Dining: Fusia Luxor, Company American Bistro, CatHouse, Tender Steak & Seafood, Backstge Deli, Pyramid Cafe, MORE the Buffet, Burger Bar, and a food court

Entertainment: Comedian Carrot Top and "Fantasy". CRISS ANGEL Believe by Cirque du Soleil is scheduled to debut late 2008.

Nightclub/Bars: LAX, CatHouse, Noir Bar, Aurora, Liquidity, Flight, Company American Bistro, High Bar and Player

Attractions: The Atrium; "BODIES...The Exhibition" featuring 13 whole-body specimens and more than 260 organs and partial body specimens, and shopping.

Hotel amenities: five outdoor pools and four Jacuzzis, open year-round; Nuture the Spa; and a wedding chapel

Parking: free self-park garage & lot; free valet service (tip appreciated)

Other: Free monorail runs from Exalibur to Mandalay Bay, with one stop at Luxor on return trip. Wedding chapel (opening July 2003),
