SIGNINGS

Richard Devin and Lance Taubold will sign “Ripper: A Love Story” at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 567 N. Stephanie St., Henderson. Heather Graham will join Devin and Taubold to sign copies of her books “Let the Dead Sleep” and “The Night Is Alive.”

Patrick Cristobal will sign “The Momentaer” at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

EVENTS

Poet Lee Mallory will give a performance poetry reading at Word Up! Poetry & Music at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Freakin’ Frog, 4700 S. Maryland Parkway. The author will also sign copies of his latest book “Now and Then.” The event is free.

The monthly READ Local Author Series will feature local writers Richard Devin and Lance Taubold, authors of the historical novel “Ripper: A Love Story,” at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Paseo Verde Library, 280 S. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson. Best-selling author Heather Graham will join Devin and Taubold at their author table (492-6580).

The Amazing Reads Book Club meets at 5:30 p.m. the fourth Wednesday of each month at West Charleston Library, 6301 W. Charleston Blvd.

Book Lovers’ Bistro meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave.

The Brown Bag Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the second Thursday of the month at the Laughlin Library, 2840 S. Needles Highway.

The Breakfast Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the third Friday of the month at Sunrise Library, 5400 Harris Ave.
