In Case You Missed It: Goats somehow escape raging avalanche

Things were not looking good for a herd of mountain goats trying to escape the grip of an oncoming avalanche tearing down the French Alps.

According to the video, the 10 Chamois goats were making a mad dash down the mountainside near Pralognan-la-Vanoise in the Rhône-Alpes when four of the four-legged victims were swallowed by the rush of snow, much to the dismay of onlooking skiers.

Honestly, you could hear it in their voices. But to their wonderous surprise, and eventual applause, the four goats, one by one, popped out of the snow and bounded away toward their six other friends.

Yay, goats!

I’m chalking it up as a Christmas miracle.
