EDC ends peacefully with a few arrests, medical calls

The last night of Electric Daisy Carnival came to a close Monday morning.

The event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway drew in crowds by the thousands, with each night seeing about 134,000 attendees, according to Insomniac Events. Sixty people were ejected from of the festival on the last day.

Las Vegas police made 25 drug-related felony arrests and 13 misdemeanor arrests on the final night. Two DUI arrests also were made.

From 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday, 234 medical calls were made at the event and eight people were transported to a hospital.

The festival brought traffic into the valley each night and morning. Police reported only one traffic accident that came out of the event and it was not fatal.
