■ Who? Eduardo Jimenez, owner of Wardo Photography
■ Location: Home
■ Handbag: Coach messenger bag
■ Are handbags status symbols? Because this is my first designer bag, I knew I wanted one of quality. As far as status symbols are concerned, I'm more concerned with functionality than status.
■ What does this bag say about you? It says I'm practical but also know what quality provides. This bag says I care about the things I carry in it.
■ If someone found your bag and looked inside, what would he/she think of you? That I'm a photographer, a creative and an artist.
■ What's the most important item you've carried in your bag? My Canon Rebel XS
■ What's the strangest item you've carried in your bag? Fake blood for one of my darker-themed photo shoots
■ Tell us about the first special bag you owned. This is the first bag that I've purchased. Once I knew photography was my passion, I knew I needed the right tools to support my craft. That's why I chose a Coach messenger bag.
■ Knockoffs: Love 'em or hate 'em? Hate them. As an artist, I know how important one's original work is and the time and skill that any masterpiece involves. Therefore, I'm always in support of the real thing.
■ Image is ... perception. In my line of work I like to take my client's perception and make it a reality through photography. Whether the image is surreal, urban or glamour, it's a manifestation of oneself.
■ What's in your bag? 1. Portfolio pictures (to always be ready to show my work), 2. Camera, 3. Lens, 4. Key chain (a keepsake that my mother gave me from Guatemala for good luck), 5. Rough draft sketch of a photo shoot (to help with my vision onsite), 6. Laptop (for all my editing needs).
