Here’s Thanksgiving without all the fuss

Who says Thanksgiving has to mean a stuffed turkey with all the trimmings? Two Las Vegas restaurants have put their own spin on the year's biggest food feast.

Nacho Daddy, which has three locations in the valley, is featuring special Thanksgiving nachos through Friday. They're the usual corn chips adorned with the most unusual toppings of turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. They're $10.95, and Nacho Daddy locations are at 9925 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson, 9560 W. Sahara Ave. and 113 North Forth St. downtown.

And Umami Burger at the SLS Las Vegas, 2535 Las Vegas Blvd. South, is bringing back The Holiday Bird, which it swears is a fan favorite. It's a turkey burger topped with a patty of cornbread stuffing, turkey gravy, ginger-cranberry chutney, spiced Japanese yams and umami-dusted fried sage, and it will be available through the end of the holiday season. It's $14, and $1 for every one sold is donated to Meals on Wheels America.
