MTO CAFE PLANS POP UP JULY DINNER

MTO Cafe’s July pop up dinner is called #Murica: Red, White & Brew and is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. July 27. The dinner is $60 per person and is to feature hors d’oeuvres and a five-course tasting menu from Johnny Church and Eduardo “Lalo” Saavedra of MTO Cafe. Courses will be paired with beers from Las Vegas’ Tenaya Creek Brewery. The chefs are to use local grown/raised items, many from Boulder City, Pahrump and the Downtown3rd Farmers Market. NEW DUNKIN’ DONUTS OPENS IN SOUTHWEST

Dunkin’ Donuts announced the opening of a new restaurant at 3481 S. Durango Drive, on the corner of Durango and Spring Mountain Road, on July 15. To celebrate, the restaurant is offering medium iced or hot coffee for 50 cents through July 29.

BELLAGIO ANNOUNCES CULINARY CLASSROOM SCHEDULE FOR 2014

The Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom at the Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has announced its schedule for 2014. The educational series includes interactive cooking classes led by executive chef Edmund Wong and his team. Each two-hour class is held in Tuscany Kitchen, a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen. Each class has a seasonal theme and features a menu created with fresh ingredients.
