Speakers conclude series at UNLV


     The University Forum lecture series will conclude its 1996-97 season with presentations April 14 and 28 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. The lectures are free and open to the public.
      On April 14, Claudia Keelan, an assistant professor of English at
     UNLV, will read from "The Secularist," a book of poems that won the Contemporary Poetry Series award from the University of Georgia Press. Her presentation is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Frank and Estella Beam Hall, Room 242.
      "Female Icons: From Marilyn Monroe to Susan Sontag (The Biographer's
     Challenge)" will be the topic when biographer Carl Rollyson speaks at 7:30 p.m. April 28 in the Classroom BuildingComplex, Room A-110.
      Rollyson will discuss several of his subjects, including Monroe,
     Sontag and Lillian Hellman.
