Ms. Senior Nevada announces new format for contest

Site Map

A new format this year will permit an unlimited number of candidates from each county to participate in the Ms. Senior Nevada pageant.
The Ms. Senior Nevada pageant joins with the Ms. Senior America contest in a nationwide "open pageant format" for the first time this year.
The Nevada State Pageant will be held June 28-29 at Boomtown, 3333 Blue Diamond Road. The new format enables any number of contestants from any county to audition for the state pageant. For the past 12 years, the pageant has limited competition to one contestant from each county.
Applications are available at most senior centers across the state. Applications will be accepted until May 1.
Contestants must be 60 years of age or older. Only 20 women will be accepted to compete in the state contest. Auditions will be held in Reno, Las Vegas and Elko. The winner of the state pageant will go to the national finals in September.
