Post office tax day hours set

The U.S. Postal Service will collect and postmark income tax returns until midnight Tuesday at the main branch, 1001 E. Sunset Road.
      Throughout the day Tuesday, the federal deadline for filing returns, an Internal Revenue Service representative will be on hand to answer questions and help with last-minute filing.
      For those who cannot make the deadline, extension forms are available at several post office branches.
      Following is a list of drop-off locations with special tax day hours:
      --Main Post Office, 1001 E. Sunset Road, window service and drop-off until midnight.
      --East Las Vegas Station, 4948 S. Mountain Vista St., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Huntridge Station, 3115 E. Olive St., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Paradise Valley Station, 4975 S. Swenson St., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Spring Valley Station, 3375 S. Rainbow Blvd., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Downtown Station, 301 Stewart Ave., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Garside Station, 1801 S. Decatur Blvd., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Henderson Station, 404 S. Boulder Highway, collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Redrock Vista Station, 2449 N. Tenaya Way, collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --North Las Vegas Station, 1414 E. Lake Mead Blvd., collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Strip Station, 3100 S. Industrial Road, collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Summerlin Station, 1611 Spring Gate Lane, collection box drop-off until 9 p.m.
      --Post Office Express will offer its normal 7:30 p.m. window services at its branches.
