The Las Vegas Gallery Association's second annual Artwalk '97, a benefit event that permits guests to tour seven local galleries, is scheduled for May 10.
From contemporary to traditional, spiritual to American Indian and art glass to collectibles, Artwalk '97 offers variety among its featured galleries.
Host participants for the tour include Art Affair, Art Encounter, Carrara Galleries, Eternal Treasures, Glass Artistry, Moonstruck Gallery and Regal Art Gallery.
Culinary treats will be provided by Affairs Catering, Big Dog's Hospitality Group Catering, Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse and Vons.
Proceeds from Artwalk '97 will benefit the new Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave.
Those completing the entire tour will be eligible for prize drawings at the end of the day. The grand prize is a trip for two to the "Pageant of the Masters" in Laguna Beach, Calif., courtesy of A-Answer on Travel Agency.
Tickets for Artwalk '97 are $25. Guests will have the option of taking a driving tour on their own or taking the official Artwalk bus. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
