Author to appear at library society lecture

     In its second Lyceum Lecture, the University Library Society has invited author Carl Rollyson to meet with Las Vegans and autograph his books during an afternoon of food and intimate dialogue.
      The event is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. April 27 in the lobby of Artemus Ham Concert Hall on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.
      The Lyceum Lecture is $25 per person, which includes a Chinese buffet.
      Rollyson has written biographies and explored some of the best minds of the 20th century. He has written about such figures as Picasso, Norman Mailer, Marilyn Monroe and Rebecca West.
      Rollyson currently has a graduate research assistant grant at Baruch College in New York City where he is professor of English.
