SHOT CLINICS

     Clark County Health District immunization clinics are open each week in and around Las Vegas. Immunizations are provided without charge to anyone under the age of 21 in any of three public health centers and 35 immunization clinics.
      The following clinics will be open this week:
      Mondays through Fridays: District Health Center, 625 Shadow Lane, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; North Las Vegas Public Health Center, 3262 Civic Center Drive, 8 am. to 4:30 p.m. (Spanish-speaking personnel available); Henderson Public Health Center, 129 W. Lake Mead Drive, Bldg. A, Suite 10, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
      Today: Parkdale Clinic, Community Center, 3200 Ferndale St., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Rainbow Library, 3150 N. Buffalo Drive, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m.; Sunrise Community Center Clinic, 2240 Linn Lane, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Lowden Community Outreach Clinic, 3333 Cambridge St., 9 a.m. to noon.
      Wednesday: Laughlin Clinic, 55 Civic Way, Laughlin, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Southwest Child Health Clinic, Christ the King Church, 4925 S. Torrey Pines Drive, 9 a.m. to noon; East Las Vegas WIC Office, 5701 Missouri Ave., 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.
      Thursday: Sandy Valley Clinic, Community Center, Sandy Valley, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; Goodsprings/Jean Clinic, Community Center, Good Springs, 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Northwest Clinic, Fellowship Community Church, 6210 W. Cheyenne Ave., 9 a.m. to noon; Overton Clinic, Community Center, Overton, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Enterprise Library, 25 E. Shelbourne Ave., 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
      Friday: Green Valley Clinic, Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m.; Mesquite Clinic, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mesquite Boulevard, Mesquite, 9 a.m. to noon for child health exams and 1 to 3 p.m. for immunizations; Cheyenne I-3 Clinic, Center for Healthy Families, 3160 Las Vegas Blvd. North, 9 a.m. to noon.
      Saturday: Boulevard Mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fremont Medical Center, 4415 W. Flamingo Road, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
      Monday: Smith's Food King, 4600 E. Sunset Road, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
      April 22: Rafael Rivera Community Center Clinic, 2900 E. Stewart Ave., 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Epicenter Child Health Clinic, 2100 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 5, noon to 4 p.m.; Smith's Food King, 4440 N. Rancho Drive, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Northeast WIC Clinic, 2404 E. Stewart Ave., 9 to 11:45 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
      Immunizations requirements for school age children vary state to state. Now is time to review immunization records and get needed boosters. Avoid long lines in August.
