Accident victim dies

      A Las Vegas man critically injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Russell Road and Spencer Street on March 29 has died, police said.
      Las Vegas police said Walter Oszakiewski, 54, died at University Medical Center on April 16 from injuries suffered in the accident. He was in critical condition from the time he was admitted to the hospital until his death.
      Police said Oszakiewski was attempting to turn his utility vehicle from Spencer Street onto the eastbound lanes of Russell when his vehicle was broadsided by a pickup operated by Jared Dee Grande, 20, of Las Vegas. Oszakiewski failed to yield to Grande, who was driving west on Russell.
      Police said no tickets have been issued. Grande was not injured in the crash.
