A retired teacher at Basic High School, he was born Dec. 22, 1915, in Thomas, Okla., and was a longtime resident of Henderson. He was a Master Mason of Gem City Lodge 52, Potentate of Zelzah Temple and a member of Royal Order of Jesters. He is survived by his daughter, Tama Ewbank of Spencer, Ind.; son, Boris of Los Angeles; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Melvin Farnsworth Melvin Truman Farnsworth, 67, died Saturday in a local hospital. An Army veteran, he was born Dec. 18, 1929, in Utah and was a truck driver and a seven-year resident of Las Vegas. A longtime resident of Nevada, she was born June 25, 1907, in Marshall, Mich., and was the owner of Baker and Hazard, a real estate company.
