RENO -- Reno Air flight attendants have voted for union representation.
Ballots counted on Wednesday showed the attendants overwhelmingly supported union representation by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
"Clearly we're disappointed but we respect the wishes of our flight attendants and will cooperate," said Steve Sarner, Reno Air's marketing vice president.
Attendants have complained they are only paid for scheduled flight time and are not compensated for jobs they do while on the ground, such as loading passengers and cleaning cabins.
