RENO -- Investigators looking into the discovery of a charred body found in the back of a burned-out Jeep west of Reno have determined that the victim was male and may have been killed at a home in Reno.
And that's about all they could say late Thursday.
The body was found on Wednesday off Interstate 80 near Mogul, just east of the California line. An autopsy determined that the victim was a male, probably in his 20s or early 30s.
Investigators on Thursday investigated a home in Reno, where neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Police say they have received complaints about drug activity at the house.
