Steward heads for other corner

Veteran trainer Emanuel Steward says he has long thought Lennox Lewis was the best heavyweight in the sport, even when he was training other heavyweights.
      Steward will be training Lewis tonight when he meets Oliver McCall for the vacant World Boxing Council heavyweight championship at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Rebels lose heartbreaker

HONOLULU -- The UNLV basketball team needed something special Thursday night. The Rebels almost got it.
      Trailing all night and by eight points with two minutes to go, UNLV rallied late but fell short 66-64 against the University of Hawaii on Thursday in front of 7,207 fans at the Special Events Center.
