Signature Productions to present comedy in Boulder City

The Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor "You Can't Take It With You," a comedy being staged by Signature Productions and performed Friday and Saturday at the Boulder City High School auditorium, 1101 Fifth St., Boulder City. Performances are at 7 p.m.
This play is a dual fund-raiser for the historic Boulder Dam Hotel and the Indigent Children's Donation Fund at the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department.
The Boulder Dam Hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places and several nonprofit community groups are restoring it to its grandeur of the '30s and '40s. The Indigent Children's Donation Fund helps offer recreation activities to youth who could not otherwise afford to participate.
"You Can't Take It With You" was originally written in 1936 and takes a zany, philosophical look at life. The play is under the direction of Victor Austin.
All tickets are $8 and are available at the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department, 900 Arizona St., The Burk Gal'ry inside the Boulder Dam Hotel, 1305 Arizona St., or by contacting the Boulder City Parks and Recreation Department at 293-9256.
