Girl Scouts plan reunion in Las Vegas

The Frontier Girl Scout Council will host a reunion for all former and current adult Girl Scouts from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the atrium courtyard of the Sprint administration offices, 330 S. Valley View Blvd.
The reunion will mark the 85th anniversary of Girl Scouts. Participants will have the chance to network and exchange personal experiences. There will be a photo exhibition depicting important Girl Scout programs and activities, as well as a collection of Girl Scout memorabilia.
Local personalities will attend, including Elizabeth Havert of KTNV-TV, Channel 13, who will serve as master of ceremonies. Cake and refreshments will be served.
Girl Scouting was founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, Ga. To date, the organization has provided some 50 million girls with confidence, leadership skills, fun and lifetime friendships.
The reunion is free, but reservations are requested. For more information and reservations, call 385-3677.
