Las Vegas hosts quarter horse show


      Las Vegas will host one of the largest quarter horse shows in the country March 20-23 at Clark County Horseman's Park, 5800 E. Flamingo Road.
      The Las Vegas Silver Dollar Circuit will feature more than 500 horses and 1,000 exhibitors during the four-day event. Events include roping, cutting, reining, halter classes, trail classes and both English and Western riding classes.
      New for this year will be pleasure driving and hunter hack (jumping) classes.
      The event begins at 8 a.m. each day and ends at approximately 5 p.m.
      The Las Vegas Silver Dollar Circuit ranks among the top 20 of more than 2,000 shows approved annually by the American Quarter Horse Association.
