     Marilyn Burk
     
     
Marilyn Theresa Burk, 64, died March 1 in Thornton, Colo.
      The owner of a beauty shop, she was born Oct. 6, 1932, in New Orleans and was a former resident of Las Vegas.
      Local immediate family survivors include her sister, Betty Villareale; and brother, Dan Bowker, both of Las Vegas.
      Services are private. All-States Cremation of Thornton handled arrangements.
     
     Hayward Burns
     
     
Hayward Dean Burns, 44, died March 8.
      A front desk clerk in a hotel, he was born March 28, 1952, in Hermitage, Ark., and was a 37-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his son, Hayward Jr. of North Las Vegas; mother, Earleen; and father, Hazel, both of Hermitage; brother, Bruce of North Las Vegas; sisters, Pauline Banks, Carolyn Redic, Olivia Jones and Leanetta, all of Las Vegas, and Blanch Walker and Delores, both of North Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
      Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday in American Burial and Cremation Services. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
     
     Laraine Diamond
     
     
Laraine Diamond, 66, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
      A waitress, she was born March 2, 1931, in Utah and was a 28-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
      She is survived by her sons, Kenneth, Mark and Richard, all of Las Vegas; daughters, Linda of Utah, Cheryl, Charmaine, Cynthia, Valerie and Melanie, all of Las Vegas, and Deborah of South Carolina; brother, Reed Brace of Utah; sisters, Willa Adams and Glenna Navarro, both of Idaho, and Lois Velasquez of California; 26 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
      Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at 3670 Hauck Circle. Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
     
     Barbara Georgeff
     
     
Barbara Georgeff, 57, died March 10 in a local hospital.
      A waitress, she was born March 31, 1939, in Buffalo, N.Y., and was a 23-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her sons, Gerard and George, both of Las Vegas; sister, Arlene; and brothers, Jerry Wagner and Gregg Wagner, all of Buffalo; and four grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bunkers Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
     
     Wilbur Hines
     
     
Wilbur Hines, 56, died Sunday in a local hospital.
      A porter in a hotel, he was born April 17, 1940, in Hermitage, Ark., and was a 30-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his companion, Bertha Washington; and daughters, Wanda, Tabatha and Loria, all of Las Vegas; sons, Daryl, Michael and Kenny, all of Illinois, and Wilbur Jr., Matthew, Matthew Washington Jr., Timothy, Lamar, Terry and Joseph, all of Las Vegas; brother, Willie of California; sisters, Rosie of Las Vegas, Lucy Smith and Lula Snapp, both of Louisiana, and Malola Jones of Warren, Ark.; and 25 grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday in Hines Funeral Home, where services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
     
     MaryJane Jenkins
     
     
MaryJane Jenkins, 66, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
      A homemaker, she was born Sept. 13, 1930, in Montebello, Calif., and was a 42-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her husband, Arthur of Las Vegas; daughters, Dawn Cassidy of St. Louis and Theresa Christopher of Las Vegas; son, Arthur of Huntsville, Ala.; sister, Patricia Jones of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from noon until services at 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary-Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
     
     Georgia Jones
     
     
Georgia Jones, 52, died Monday in a local hospital.
      A medical billings person, she was born May 24, 1944, in Springfield, Ohio, and was a 10-year resident of Las Vegas. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Star Park Chapter 26, and the Ameranth and White Shrine of Jerusalem.
      She is survived by her husband, Lynn; daughter, Carol; and sons, Jason and Riki, all of Las Vegas; father, William Lovett of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Roberta Hatch of Sandy, Utah, and Jennie Lovett of Salt Lake City; brothers, William Jr. of Albuquerque and Terry Fredrickson of East Carbon, Utah; and one grandchild.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary-Eastern, where services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. The family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
     
     Joseph Malinowski
     
     
Joseph Malinowski, 78, died Monday in a local hospital.
      An Army veteran of World War II, he was born June 7, 1918, in Pennsylvania and was a steel worker and a five-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Wilma; sons, Tim and Joseph Jr.; and daughter, Rita, all of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
      Services are private. Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
     
     Fred Mannina
     
     
Fred Mannina, 78, died March 10 in a local hospital.
      An Army veteran, he was born Feb. 11, 1919, in California and was a shipping clerk and a three-year resident of Las Vegas. He was a member of the Sunshine Club and the Seniors Bowling League.
      He is survived by his sons, Bill of Las Vegas and John of San Francisco; daughter, Mary Blazensky of Menlo Park, Calif.; brothers, Tony of San Francisco, Joe of Redwood City, Calif., and Sam of Daley City, Calif.; sisters, Dolly Calcagno of Stockton, Calif., and Nancy Riewarts of Belmont, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial is private.
     
     Vernon Menard II
     
     
Vernon J. Menard II, 56, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
      An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was born April 7, 1940, in Rogers, Minn., and was a labor relations executive in engineering and a 10-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Sandra of Las Vegas; sons, Vernon III of Charlotte, N.C., Brian of Charlottesville, Va., and Scott of Las Vegas; daughters, Johanna of Seattle, and Tina Workman, Michelle and Lori, all of Las Vegas; mother, Elsie Kemp of Osseo, Minn.; and sister, Carole Reis of Greenfield, Iowa.
      Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today in St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, where services will be at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Minnesota. Palm Mortuary-Jones handled arrangements.

Edmundo S. Nepomuceno Sr., 76, died Monday in a local hospital.
      A retired mechanical engineer in the refrigeration business, he was born July 1, 1920, in Tarlac, Philippines, and was a six-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his sons, Edmundo Jr. of Las Vegas and Jose of the Philippines; daughter, Marion Stockton of Las Vegas; brother, Eduardo of San Jose, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
      Services will be at noon Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church. Visitation will follow from 1 to 5 p.m. in Palm Mortuary-Eastern.
     
     Frank Rittenberg
     
     
Frank E. Rittenberg, 90, died Tuesday in a local hospital.
      A retired sound technician in radio and television broadcasting, he was born April 1, 1906, Altoona, Pa., and was a 23-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his daughters, Elaine Zeiner of Valencia, Calif., Charlotte Colosia of Oceanside, Calif., and Charleen Seijas of South Pasadena, Calif.; four sisters; one brother, four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
      Palm Mortuary-Jones handled arrangements.

Arnold Robinson, 69, died Jan. 17 in a local convalescent hospital.
      He was born July 7, 1927, in California and was a resident of Las Vegas.
      Inurnment will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
     
     Yolanda Vannucci
     
     
Yolanda Pierini Vannucci, 71, died Wednesday.
      She was born June 30, 1925, in New York and was a 32-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her sons, Bob and John; and sister, Enes Equi, all of Las Vegas; brother, John Pierini of Los Gatos, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Thomasina Ward
     
     
Thomasina Ward, 65, died Monday in a local care center.
      A distribution clerk for the U.S. Postal Service, she was born May 28, 1931, in New York City and was a five-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughter, Clarissa Grant of Las Vegas; sister, Barbara Hammond; and brother, Willie, both of Jamaica, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary-Downtown, where services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
     
     Noel Washington
     
     
Noel M. Washington, 62, died Monday in a local hospital.
      An Army veteran, he was born April 12, 1934, in Milburn, Okla., and was a retired truck driver for a telephone company and a 25-year resident of Las Vegas. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
      He is survived by his wife, Doris; and sons, Robert Rouse and Christopher Rule, all of Las Vegas; daughters, Janice Rouse of Dillon, Mont., and Jodi Rule-Rouse of Las Vegas; mother, Algene of Oklahoma City; brother, Tim of Plano, Texas; and two grandchildren.
      Services will be held in Oklahoma. Palm Mortuary-Downtown handled arrangements.
     
     Rosemarie Wells
     
     
Rosemarie Wells, 37, died Monday in a local hospital.
      A dealer in gaming, she was born March 12, 1959, in Manila, Philippines, and was a 10-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her husband, John Jr. of North Lauderdale, Fla.; sons, John III and Milton; and mother, Milagros Aviendo, all of Las Vegas; brothers, Robert Aviendo, Percival Aviendo and Rocky Aviendo, all of the Philippines; sisters, Cholly Pigg of Las Vegas and Edelina Aviendo of the Philippines; and grandparents, Faye and John Sr., both of North Lauderdale.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary-Jones, where services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.
     
     Cecilia Wheadon
     
     
Cecilia Wheadon, 90, died Wednesday.
      A homemaker, she was born Nov. 5, 1906, in Butterfield, Utah, and was a nine-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughter, Sue Marsh of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary-Eastern.
