     Measures Passed
      CARCASS -- SB11. Prohibits the return of a processed carcass of certain animals other than carcass that was delivered from processing. To Assembly.
      BAD CHECKS -- SB68. Increases the fee charged to certain people who draw or pass checks or drafts without sufficient cover. To Assembly.
      ABUSE -- SB80. Makes people liable in treble damages for abuse, neglect or exploitation of people 60 years of age or older. To Assembly.
      ELECTIONS -- SB84. Amends the provisions governing hours that certain ex-officio registrars must be open. To Assembly.
      TOWNSHIP -- SB98. Revises the definition of "commissioner township." To Assembly.
      BANKS -- SB141. Revises provisions governing regulation of banks by Nevada Gaming Commission. To Assembly.
      ENVIRONMENT -- AB72. Requires Division of Environmental Protection to review applications for permits to construct utility facilities. To governor.
      JURORS -- AB78. Expands amount of money that a juror may donate to an agency that provides protective services for children. To governor.
      CLERK -- AB89. Revises the provision governing appointment of the deputy clerk for justice's court. To governor.

      CHILD ABUSE -- SB205, Human Resources and Facilities. Revises the definition of child abuse and various provisions governing child abuse. To Human Resources and Facilities.
      PREGNANCY -- SB206, Joe Neal, D-North Las Vegas. Makes appropriation of $200,000 to the Life Line Pregnancy Assistance and Vocational Training Center. To Finance.
      JUVENILE -- SB207, Valerie Wiener, D-Las Vegas, others. Revises provisions governing the authority of courts to order counseling for child and family. To Judiciary.
     ASSEMBLY
     Measures Passed
      LICENSE TAXES -- AB144. Revises collection and distribution of certain license taxes. To Senate.
      LOW-INCOME RENT -- AB148. Requires mobile home park landlords to notify state of rent increases for tenants who are eligible for low-income aid. To Senate.
      CASINO INTERESTS -- AB162. Clarifies methods of transferring interest in casinos. To Senate.
      INMATE SERVICE -- AB189. Requires county commissioners to conduct studies of inmates performing community service. To Senate.
     New Measures
      EMPLOYERS -- AB248, Lynn Hettrick, R-Gardnerville. Exempts employers from civil liabilities for providing certain employee information to new employers. To Judiciary.
      PERSHING RODEO -- AB249, John Marvel, R-Battle Mountain. Exempts property taxes from Pershing County Kids, Horses and Rodeo Inc. To Judiciary.
      SURVEYORS -- AB250, Roy Neighbors, D-Tonopah. Expands services assigned to county surveyors. To Government Affairs.
      MERIT SYSTEM -- AB251, Neighbors. Revises the merit personnel system in certain counties. To Government Affairs.
      MUSEUM -- AB252, Neighbors. Appropriates $300,000 to Nye County for Tonopah Mining Park and Central Nevada Museum. To Ways and Means.
      LEARNING CENTER -- AB253, Neighbors. Appropriates $3 million for a high-tech learning center in Pahrump. To Ways and Means.
      ENVIRONMENT -- AB254, Government Affairs. Repeals the utility environmental protection act. To Government Affairs.
      GAS SERVICE -- AB255, Government Affairs. Allows natural gas utilities to refuse service. To Government Affairs.
      GAS RIGHTS -- AB256 Government Affairs. Authorizes natural gas utilities to sell exclusive rights to gas supplies. To Government Affairs.
      UTILITY ADS -- AB257, Government Affairs. Authorizes public utilities to recover promotional advertising costs. To Government Affairs.
      INTERIOR DESIGN -- AB258, Joe Dini, D-Yerington. Establishes regulations for instruction of interior design. To Commerce.
