     Internal auditors
      The Student Accounting Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors will hold a meeting on internal auditing at 4 p.m. Monday at Nevada Power Co.      Facility management
      The International Facility Management Association will meet at Marie Callender's restuarant, 4875 W. Flamingo Road, at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Eric Anderson, director of planning and construction for UNLV, will speak. Call Roger Tardif at 889-0823.
     Better Business
      The Better Business Bureau will hold its annual luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Stardust. Former County Commissioner Paul Christensen will discuss the city's explosive growth. Call 735-8591.
     OSHA standards
      The Nevada Business and Industry Department will present a two-day seminar on Occupational Safety and Health Administration construction standards at 9 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The meeting will be held at the Safety Consultation and Training Section offices at 2500 W. Washington Ave., Suite 114. Call 486-5016.
     Water
      Aqua Vision will hear David Donnelly, deputy general manager of the Southern Nevada Water Authority, discuss the recent "system interruption" at a Wednesday meeting. The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. at Palace Station. Call 397-6475.
     Casino managers
      Mark Brandenberg, managing partner of the Golden Gate Hotel, will discuss the casino's history in a presentation to the Casino Management Association Wednesday. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at Luxor. Call the association at 593-5477.
     Real estate
      Certified Commercial Investment Members and the Institute of Real Estate Management will meet jointly at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Las Vegas Country Club, 3000 Joe W. Brown Drive.      Industrial realty
      The local chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties will meet at 7 a.m. Thursday meeting to discuss the expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Tom Smith, vice president of the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, will speak. Call the association Monday.
     Minority purchasing
      The Nevada Minority Purchasing Council will hold an awards meeting at 6 p.m. Friday in Caesars Palace. Call 894-4477.
     Hotel and motel
      The Nevada Hotel & Motel Association will meet Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Galba/Titus Room at Caesars Palace. Warren Hardy, government affairs and legislative strategist, will address proposals before the legislature affecting the industry.
     Commercial realty
      The Commercial Marketing Group will offer the "Basics of Commercial Real Estate Specialities" at the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors offices, 1750 E. Sahara Ave. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Friday. Call Alma Kessel at 223-7187.
     Builders course
      Project scheduling will be discussed at a Graduate Builders Institute class set for 8 a.m. Saturday at UNLV's Beam Hall. The UNLV Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies and the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association are sponsoring the event. Call Debra March at 895-4492.
