Bernard Bajardi Sr. Bernard "Barney" Barjardi Sr., 77, died Sunday. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Long Island, N.Y., and was a retired plumber and a 21-year resident of Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Helen; and daughter, Janice Victorson, both of Las Vegas; sons, Bernard Jr. of Rochester Hills, Mich., Thomas of St. Peters, Mo., and Robert of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; sisters, Beatrice Pari and Anita, both of Florida, Margaret Galante of Douglaston, N.Y., and Lucia Fioletta of Long Island; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary-Jones. Jerry Barker Jerry Douglas Barker, 36, died March 21. A laborer in construction, he was born Oct. 21, 1960, in San Jose, Calif., and was a 35-year resident of Las Vegas and Pahrump. He was a member of the laborers union and a life scout for Boy Scouts of America.
