Bernard Bajardi Sr.
Bernard "Barney" Barjardi Sr., 77, died Sunday.
An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Long Island, N.Y., and was a retired plumber and a 21-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; and daughter, Janice Victorson, both of Las Vegas; sons, Bernard Jr. of Rochester Hills, Mich., Thomas of St. Peters, Mo., and Robert of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; sisters, Beatrice Pari and Anita, both of Florida, Margaret Galante of Douglaston, N.Y., and Lucia Fioletta of Long Island; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary-Jones.
Jerry Barker
Jerry Douglas Barker, 36, died March 21.
A laborer in construction, he was born Oct. 21, 1960, in San Jose, Calif., and was a 35-year resident of Las Vegas and Pahrump. He was a member of the laborers union and a life scout for Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his companion, Susan Cornell; and son, Jerry, both of Pahrump; and parents, Marvel and Jerry; and sister, Debie Girth, all of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services at noon Saturday in the Alta and Jones chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will follow in Bunkers Memory Gardens Memorial Park. The family requests donations be made to the Jerry Barker Scholarship Fund in care of Nevada State Bank. Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary handled arrangements.
Olive Barker
Olive Barker, 90, died Sunday in a local care center.
A homemaker, she was born Dec. 23, 1906, in Kansas City, Mo., and was a 13-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her sons, Russell of Missouri Valley, Iowa, and Daniel of Milwaukee; sisters, Odetta Reuter and Lola Mae, both of Nebraska; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne.
Bartley Braham
Bartley Braham, 43, died Sunday.
A mechanic, he was born March 30, 1953, and was a 40-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his brothers, Clifford and Charles, both of Las Vegas, and John of North Pole, Alaska; and sister, Lois Anderson of Las Vegas.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society.
Edmund Deering
Edmund Edward Deering, 75, died Friday in a local hospital.
An Army veteran, he was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Chicago and was an automobile body repairman. He was a six-year resident of Pahrump and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10054.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Pahrump; sons, Robert of Lake Geneva, Wis., Gene of Elk Horn, Wis., Michael Rasch and Larry Jakobi, both of Palmdale, Calif., and Rodney of Wisconsin; daughters, Karlene Sullivan and Julie Rasch; and brother, Lawrence, all of Lake Geneva; sister, Lila Petrie of Minong, Wis.; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church. Neptune Society of Nye County handled arrangements.
Terry Haney
Terry Kenneth Haney, 32, died March 19 in a local hospital.
A laborer, he was born Aug. 12, 1964, in Phoenix and was a 30-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his brothers, Eric Thomas, Ray and Michael; and sisters, Tamiko Judge and Devra.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today in Evergreen Funeral Home, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Cohuita Kennon
Cohuita P. Kennon, 79, died Monday in a local hospital.
A Women's Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, she was born Oct. 22, 1917, in San Antonio and was a retired teacher and a one-year resident of Las Vegas. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Gamma Iota Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa National Teachers Sorority, the Les Belles Arte Club, Hester Court Heroines of Jericho, Texas, and Reiki Master of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter, Adah of Las Vegas; four brothers; and six sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne. The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Delta Sigma Theta Inc., Sacramento Alumni Chapter.
Reuben Kilian
Reuben Kilian, 72, died Saturday in a local hospital.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was born July 5, 1924, in Titonka, Iowa, was a retired concessionaire in state government and a 20-year resident of Las Vegas. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1753 and Disabled American Veterans Post 11.
He is survived by his wife, Delores of Las Vegas; daughters, Carol of Scotia, Calif., and Judith Brendalen of Clearbrook, Minn.; son, Craig of Redding, Calif.; mother, Martha; and sister, Louise Wales; both of Minneapolis; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary-Jones, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Rosalind M. Lamm, 73, died Saturday in a local hospital.
An office worker for a steel company, she was born May 30, 1923, in New Mexico and was a four-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her sister, Lillian Cloutier of Las Vegas; and brothers, Gilbert Miera of California and Edmund Miera of New Mexico.

Lucy Malone, 96, died Sunday.
A homemaker, she was born April 17, 1900, in Carter County, Ky., and was a 35-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, William of Las Vegas; and sister, Flora Toth of San Francisco.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary-Downtown, where services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Raymond "Cowboy Ray" McMayon, 60, died Sunday in Willis, Texas.
He was born Oct. 7, 1936, in Oakhurst, Texas, and was a former resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Tie Tie Club and AA.
Local immediate family survivors include his daughter, Shirley; sons, Michael and J.T.; and stepsister, Amburlyn Sherwood, all of Las Vegas.

Carl Monroe Pyatt, 89, died Saturday in St. George, Utah.
He was born Sept. 13, 1907, in Afton, Okla., and was retired from Titanium Metals Corp.
He is survived by his sons, James of Hisperia, Calif., and Carl of Henderson; daughters, Betty Mitchell of Rockport, Texas, Carolyn Lair of St. Louis and Lorraine Schmedes of North Las Vegas; 28 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Donald J. Rowley, 64, died Saturday in a local hospital.
A retired lieutenant colonel in the Air Force and a veteran of the Vietnam War, he was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Spring Glenn, Utah, and was a 15-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his wife, Olga; sons, Kyle and Karter; and daughters, Kimberly Johnston and Konstance Speck, all of Las Vegas; sisters, Jo Anne Krusee and Jane, both of City of Commerce, Calif., Leonne Hurst of Phelan, Calif., and Elaine Crew of Cincinnati; brothers, Irvin of Palm Springs, Calif., Winford of Springville, Utah, and Stanley of City of Commerce; and 11 grandchildren.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was born Dec. 26, 1917, in Greeley, Colo., was a retired carpenter and an 11-year resident of Las Vegas.
He is survived by his daughter, Christine Dill of Las Vegas; son, William Jr. of Duluth, Minn.; sister, Betty McNichols of Grass Valley, Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A retired hostess for a hotel-casino, she was born Feb. 14, 1918, in New York City and was a resident of Peekskill, N.Y., and a former resident of Las Vegas.

Edward K. Van Dusen, 63, died Sunday.
A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Hemet, Calif., and was a retired Metro police officer and a 41-year resident of Las Vegas. He was a member of the Police Protective Association and a charter member of Blue Knights Nevada Chapter 1.
He is survived by his wife, Judith of Las Vegas; daughters, Kathy Barnette of Piedmont, S.C., Holly Roberts of Las Vegas and Kristy Dietrich of Henderson; sons, Louis Mosca and Kenny, both of Las Vegas, Dana Mosca of Moran, Wyo., and Michael Mosca of Butte, Mont.; and 18 grandchildren.

A retired accountant, she was born Sept. 4, 1907, in Newport, R.I., and was a 22-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of Southgate Chapter 18, Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore of Las Vegas; and sister, Bernice Wood of Middletown, R.I.

An office manager for a tax preparation service, she was born May 29, 1952, in Bedford City, Tenn., and was a 22-year resident of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her son, Daniel of Las Vegas; daughter, Julie Baker of Phoenix; mother, Betty Prouty of Florida; brother, Steven Jones of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and sisters, Gina Williams of St. Louis, and Carol Blank and Michelle Mathieu, both of West Palm Beach.
