Hospital foundation plans fund-raiser

     Color Us Friends, an innovative series of "friend-raisers" and fund-raisers to benefit the Sunrise Children's Hospital Foundation, will take place throughout the month of April.
      Color Us Friends "Kid's Day" will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 12 at the Boulevard Mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway. The event is open to children ages 2 to 12. Carnival booths will be set up where the children can participate in a variety of games. Tickets for the games are 25 cents each.
      Additionally, the "World's Largest Box of Crayons" will be on display at the mall. Children who guess the number of crayons in the box will be eligible for savings bonds.
      The Color Us Friends dinner gala and art auction will be held on April 18 at the Las Vegas Hilton, 3000 Paradise Road. The silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m.; the black tie dinner gala at 8. Cost is $125 per person.
      The auction will feature gift packages and autographed coloring books from celebrities.
