Flood Control District

Support groups

Southern Nevada Alliance for the Mentally Ill sponsors a support group for family and friends of people with mental disorders. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services, 6161 W. Charleston Blvd. (486-6000).

Drama workshop

Shundahai Network
Shundahai Network will sponsor a Nuclear Fool's Day Parade at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday beginning at Bonanza Road and Main Street and continuing through the downtown area to the Foley Federal Building at Bridger Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. A rally will precede the event at 2 p.m., with a performance at 4:30 p.m. at the Foley Federal Building (647-3095).
