Alert neighbor sounds alarm, saves teen-ager A Las Vegas teen escaped serious injury Saturday when a neighbor alerted her to a fire in her parents' mobile home. Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman Timothy Szymanski said the fire started at 4:12 a.m. in the home at Ballerina Sunrise Mobile Home Park, 839 Lamb Blvd., near Washington Avenue. Szymanski said a neighbor who saw flames rising from the roof knocked on the door of the home. Szymanski said the cause of the fire is suspicious, and Fire Department investigators are trying to determine if arson is involved. The blaze is the third at the mobile home in the past few months. The two previous fires, which caused minor damage, were the result of arson, Szymanski said.
