     BOULDER CITY CENTER
      The Boulder City Center, 1001 Arizona St., offers activities and programs for seniors (293-5510). Meals are served five days a week to anyone age 60 and older for a donation of $1.25. Meals on Wheels is provided to the homebound age 60 and older for a donation of $2.
     
     CAMBEIRO CENTER
      The Arturo Cambeiro Senior Center at 330 N. 13th St. is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. It is managed by the Nevada Association of Latin Americans. Meals are served to adults age 60 and older at 11:30 a.m. daily for a donation of $1.25.
     
     CANNON CENTER
      The Howard W. Cannon Senior Service Center, 340 N. 11th St., offers centralized services to seniors (366-1522). Medical equipment also is available.
     
     DERFELT CENTER
      The Derfelt Center in Lorenzi Park, 3333 W. Washington Ave., offers activities 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday for adults 55 and older. Registration for each class is $1 (229-6601).
     
     DOOLITTLE CENTER
      The Doolittle Satellite Senior Center, 1901 N. J St., is open 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday (229-6125). The center offers weekday lunches at 11:30 a.m. by the Senior Nutrition Program for a donation of $1.25 per person.
     
     DULA GYMNASIUM
      Dula Gymnasium, adjacent to the Las Vegas Senior Citizens Center, 441 E. Bonanza Road, is the home of the city's Active Sports for Seniors Program (229-6307).
     
     EOB CENTER
      The EOB (Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County) Senior Center, 330 W. Washington Ave., offers social activities, services in health and education, low-cost meals, a thrift shop and the Senior and Handicapped Transportation Program (647-2536).
     
     HENDERSON CENTER
      The Henderson Senior Center, 27 E. Texas Ave. in Henderson, offers a variety of recreational, social and health services and activities. The center is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday; 6-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday (565-6990).
     
     HOLLYHOCK CENTER
      The Hollyhock Adult Day Care Center, 380 N. Maryland Parkway, is operated by the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County. The center offers programs to meet the specific needs of elderly and impaired individuals (382-0093).
     
     KATHERINE CENTER
      The Katherine Center in Reformation Lutheran Church, 580 E. St. Louis Ave., is open 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (732-2054). Meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Reservations are required one day in advance (732-2054).
     
     LAS VEGAS SENIOR CENTER
      The Las Vegas Senior Citizens Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road, offers programs, services and Prime Timers classes and activities. Registration is $1 for most classes (229-6454).
     
     LIED SENIOR CENTER
      Lied Senior Care Center, 901 N. Jones Blvd., provides daily adult supervision of frail and disabled adults. Operated by the Economic Opportunity Board of Clark County, the center offers social activities and individual care. Medication supervision, nutritious meals, stroke exercise classes and other therapies also are offered (648-3425).
     
     LOWDEN CENTER
      The Lowden Center, 3333 Cambridge St., offers senior activities 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (455-7169).
     
     NORTHWEST COMMUNITY
     CENTER

      Northwest Community Center, 6841 W. Lone Mountain Road, is the home of the city of Las Vegas Senior Citizen Outreach Programs office, which plans and executes programs for people throughout the community (229-4924).
     
     OVERTON SENIOR CENTER
      United Seniors Inc., 475 S. Moapa Valley Blvd. in Overton, offers senior activities 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday (397-8002). Meals are served five days a week for a donation of $2. Meals on Wheels are also provided for the homebound for a donation of $2.
     
     PARADISE COMMUNITY
     CENTER

      The Paradise Community Center, 4770 S. Harrison Drive, offers senior activities 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday (455-7513).
     
     PARKDALE CENTER
      Parkdale Community Center, 3200 Ferndale St., offers social activities and bimonthly trips for seniors (455-7517).
     
     SALVATION ARMY
      The Friendship Circle Adult Daytime Center, sponsored by the Salvation Army, is an adult day-care facility at 830 E. Lake Mead Drive in Henderson. The center is open 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays (565-8836).
     
     SUNRISE CENTER
      The Sunrise Center Seniors, 2240 Linn Lane, meet for field trips, workshops and luncheons each month (455-7600).
     
     WHITNEY CENTER
      The Whitney Senior Center, 5700 Missouri Ave., offers a variety of activities for seniors (455-7576). The center offers lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday for $1.25 for seniors over 60. Reservations must be made one day in advance.
     
     WINCHESTER COMMUNITY
     CENTER

      Winchester Community Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, offers a variety of activities for seniors (455-7340).
      A senior open house is held 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursdays with cards, games and other special events.
      Classes are offered in tai chi, Japanese floral art, ceramics, fused glass and photography. Call for schedule.
     
     SENIOR PROGRAMS
      MountainView Senior Friends will present "Understanding Wall Street" at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the group's office, 8524 Del Webb Blvd. Preregistration is required (255-5404).
      Line dancing will be taught at 1 p.m. each Tuesday through May 27 at Senior Friends Columbia Sunrise Resource Center, 2809 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson. Cost is $2 per class. Reservations requested (434-6500).
      A class on beginning hydroponics will be offered at 9 a.m. Wednesday by Senior Friends, Sunrise Chapter, at the Desert Demonstration Gardens, 3701 Alta Drive (735-5510).
      Cholesterol screenings, fasting blood sugar screenings, blood pressure and eye screenings will be offered 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at a community health fair at Albertson's, 2545 S. Eastern Ave. The fair is sponsored by Senior Friends, Sunrise Chapter, and Albertson's. Reservations requested (735-5510).
      Free blood sugar screenings will be offered 8-10 a.m. Friday at Senior Friends, Sunrise Chapter, 3101 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 314. Reservations requested (735-5510).
      Senior Friends, Green Valley, will discus how to keep skin safe from the sun and how to detect skin cancer at 1 p.m. Friday at the Columbia Sunrise Resource Center, 2809 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson. Reservations requested (434-6500).
      A free seminar on osteoporosis will be given at 9 a.m. May 20 at the Senior Advantage Resource Center, 9310 Sun City Blvd., Suite 101. Reservations are required (363-1150).
      A lecture on arthritis will be presented at 1:30 p.m. May 20 by the MountainView Senior Friends in the Columbia Sunrise MountainView Hospital classroom, 3100 N. Tenaya Way. Reservations requested (255-5404).
      Dr. Lowell T. Niebaum will speak on the importance of keeping active at 1:30 p.m. May 21 in the Columbia Sunrise Hospital auditorium, 3186 S. Maryland Parkway. The program is sponsored by Sunrise Senior Friends. Reservations requested (735-5510).
      Free emergency medical cards, provided by the city of Las Vegas Senior Citizen Programs Division and Seniors and Law Enforcement Together, are available at the Las Vegas Senior Citizens Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road; Dula Gymnasium, 441 E. Bonanza Road; Derfelt Senior Center, 3333 W. Washington Ave.; Doolittle Senior Center, 1940 N. J St.; and the Northwest Community Center, 6841 Lone Mountain Road (229-6454).
      A seniors slo-pitch softball league plays at 9 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Lorenzi Park, 3333 W. Washington Ave. (642-0684).
      From one-day trips to extended tours, Seniors on the Go, 4430 Point Breeze Drive, offers trips to seniors throughout the year (656-2982).
      Instruction in a variety of social dances is offered at 1:30 p.m. Fridays at the Chuck Minker Sports Complex, 275 N. Mojave Road. Cost is $40 for per six-week session (229-6563).
      Opticare, a community service program that offers free cataract and glaucoma screenings to adults 50 and older, makes weekly visits to housing communities, mobile home parks and senior centers (363-1555).
      The Sunrise chapter of Senior Friends sponsors a game day at 1 p.m. every other Monday at the Senior Friends office, 3101 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 314. Bridge, canasta, pinochle and rummy are some of the activities scheduled. The group also offers free blood-pressure screenings at 1:30 p.m. every Tuesday in the Senior Friends office.       A women's softball league, open to women over 50, is being formed. Call for details (251-9784 or 361-6563).
      The Teddy Bear Express offers free daily trips to Laughlin and Primm (737-6062).
      A free caregiver support group meets the second and fourth Saturday of the month at 3 p.m. at Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. (733-0320).
      A free bereavement support group meets the first and third Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. (733-0320).
      Margaret Rose Residential Care Center is offering its dining room as a meeting area for any seniors-oriented organization. Call for more information and reservations (384-7673).
      The Senior Action Club plays bingo at 10 a.m. Wednesdays at the Stupak Community Center, 300 W. Boston Ave. (229-2488).
      Senior Friends is offering a swim program at noon Thursdays at Columbia Sunrise Health Strategies, 3131 LaCanada St., Suite 107. A doctor's release is required for participation. Reservations are requested (735-5510).
      The Clark County Health District offers free physical examinations and medical histories for adults age 60 and older (383-1354).
      The Senior Advantage Resource Center, 9310 Sun City Blvd., Suite 101, offers free blood-pressure screenings 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Free private Medicare counseling is also available by appointment (363-1150).
      Alzheimer's Disease Association offers information about the disease and support and services for patients, families and caregivers. Meetings are at various locations throughout the community. (248-2770).
      Senior Tripsters offers a variety of day trips and excursions for seniors (387-0007).
      Nevada State Troupers, senior citizens who tap dance for charity, is available for bookings (four to six weeks in advance) for club dates, community affairs, fund-raisers, reunions, nursing homes, churches and schools. There is no charge for shows; donations are given to local charities. The group also offers a two-hour dance class for $2 (458-2044).
