YOUTH SPOTLIGHT


     The following young men from the Boulder Dam Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America have recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout:
      J. Derrick Frazier, son of Van and Pam Frazier. He is a member of Troop No. 6366 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
      Frazier is a freshman at Basic High School and is interested in a career in communications.
      Robert Hale, son of Blair and Norma Hale. He is a member of Troop No. 261 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
      Hale is a senior at Durango High School and is interested in a career in medicine or engineering.
      Jared Judd, son of Paul and Annette Judd. He is a member of Troop No. 6190 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Judd is a freshman at Advance Technologies Academy and is interested in a career as an engineer.
      Zachary Larsen, son of David and Brenda Larsen. He is a member of Troop No. 6366 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Larsen is a junior at Basic High School and is interested in a career as a pediatrician.
      Nicholas Macgonegal, son of Chip and Kathie Bradt. He is a member of Troop No. 169 and a junior at Las Vegas High School. Macgonegal is interested in a career in music or business management.
      George Newbury IV, son of Claudia and George Newbury III. He is a member of Troop No. 700 and is sponsored by Saint Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church. Newbury is a junior at The Meadows School.
      Carlos S‡nchez, son of Jorge and Susan S‡nchez. He is a member of Troop No. 366 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. S‡nchez is a graduate of Green Valley High School and is interested in a career in accounting.
      Adam Starr, son of Bob and Martha Swift. He is a member of Troop No. 372 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Starr is a junior at Green Valley High School and is interested in a career as a police officer with the canine unit.
      Mark Taylor, son of Mark and Jackie Taylor. He is a member of Troop No. 343 and is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Taylor is a senior at Green Valley High School and is interested in a career as an architect or civil engineer.
      Donny Watson Jr., son of Linda and Donny Watson Sr.
      He is a member of Troop No. 56 and is sponsored by Hope United Methodist Church. Watson is a junior at Mohave High School and is interested in a career in the Air Force.
