Bonanza nips Clark in final seconds of double OT

Lewis Brown hit a 12-foot bank shot with three seconds left in the second overtime Friday night, lifting Bonanza to an 84-82 victory over visiting Clark.
      Brown led all scorers with 26 points, including six in the two overtimes. He also had six assists.

Both teams had chances to win the game from the free-throw line in regulation, but Clark hit just 10 of 28 (36 percent) from the line, and Bonanza made 10 of 27 (37 percent).
      Robert Gatling added 22 points, and Marcus Brown had 15 points and seven assists for Bonanza (8-6, 1-1 Sunset).
      Kevin Gaines, who led Clark with 23 points, hit a pair of free throws at the end of the first overtime to tie the game at 78.
      Jamie Manor had 21 points and J.R. Wong 13 for the Chargers (11-6, 0-2).
      -- Green Valley 76, Eldorado 47 -- At Green Valley, Allan Johnson scored 16 points, and Jamar Glasper and Sam Earl added 13 each to lead the Sunrise-leading Gators.
      "We came out really intense," said Larry Thomas, coach of the 4-0 Gators (7-3 overall). "We pressed, got several turnovers right away, and got into the flow of the game really well."
      Lavor Elliot and Haven Tillmon led Eldorado (2-9, 1-3) with nine points each.
      -- Las Vegas 77, Silverado 58 -- At Las Vegas, junior forward Casey Reid-Crockett scored 16 points as the Wildcats used a first-quarter full-court press to pull away from the Skyhawks.
      Ronnie Jones had 15 points and Mario Finley 12 for Las Vegas (13-4, 3-0 Sunrise).
      "We went to the press three minutes into the game and got a few easy baskets," said Wildcat coach Tom Farnsworth, whose team built an early 24-11 lead. "They shot it pretty well to keep it from being a blowout. Then we went to a zone in the third quarter, and they had a hard time getting it inside."
      As a result, Las Vegas' 11-point halftime lead ballooned to 66-45 by the start of the fourth quarter.
      Andy Saggiomo had 10 points to lead Silverado (3-8, 2-2).
      -- Valley 56, Basic 47 -- At Valley, the Viking defense took over in the fourth quarter, holding Basic to five points to erase a 42-41 deficit.
      Valley's Alex Hernandez led all scorers with 22 points. Teammate Dion Jackson tossed in 17.
      Basic's D'Auria Mosely scored 18 points, and Jason Norris added 16.
      -- Bishop Gorman 71, Western 66 -- At Bishop Gorman, Darrell Ewell led all scorers with 24, and teammate Jason VanMeetren added 16 to lead the Gaels past the Warriors.
      Vance Lawhorn led Western with 19 points. Gorman's Mo Terry scored 15 points.
      -- Cheyenne 76, Cimarron-Memorial 57 -- At Cimarron-Memorial, Demetrius Hunter scored 17 points, and Eddie Shelby added 15 points and six assists to lead the Desert Shields.
      Brian Jackson added 11 points and a team-high 10 rebounds for Cheyenne, which hit six of its final eight shots before halftime to lead, 30-22.
      Brian Lang scored a game-high 24 points for Cimarron.
      -- Chaparral 91, Vo-Tech 54 -- At Vo-Tech, the Cowboys opened with an intense press, forcing enough turnovers to build a 30-9 lead after one quarter.
      Richard Seigler led Chaparral with 20 points. Matt Cox had 17 and Maurice Trimble 15.
      Vo-Tech's Cory Belk scored 17 points.
      -- Pahrump 60, Virgin Valley 56 -- At Mesquite, Jared Dillman scored 11 of his 24 points in the first quarter, hitting three 3-pointers, to give the Trojans an early lead.
      Scott Leavitt led Virgin Valley with 18 points.
