     Michelle Angel
     
     
Michelle Angel, 33, died Oct. 13.
      She was born Dec. 27, 1964, in Rhode Island. A homemaker, she was a four-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Nicole; son, Christopher, all of Las Vegas; father, Carl Labes of Brooklyn, N.Y.; mother, Manette Manning; and brothers, Manfred Labes and Eddie Manning, all of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
      Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home with graveside services at 2 p.m. in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Candido Arias
     
     
Candido A. Arias, 68, died Monday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      He was born Oct. 3, 1930, in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. A worker in various hotels, he was a 12-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his son, Jesus; daughter, Miriam; and sisters, Marta Klein and Elba Costa.
      Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
     
     Clara Benoit
     
     
Clara June Benoit, 68, died Tuesday.
      She was born June 18, 1930, in San Jacinto, Calif. A homemaker, she was a 31-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her husband, Felix; daughter, Billie, both of Las Vegas; sons, Vinny of Henderson and Jim of Las Vegas; sisters, Bessie Fowler, Helen Cursi and Polly Crosland, all of Fresno, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
      Private services were held. Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary handled arrangements.
     
     Laurence Cowen
     
     
Laurence G. Cowen, 76, died Friday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      He was born June 26, 1922, in Los Angeles. An Army veteran, he was a retired dentist and a four-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his wife, Elsie of Las Vegas; daughters, Jane Bernard of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Linda Halcomb of Lancaster, Calif.; sons, Jim of Mill Valley, Calif., Michael Kennedy of Palmdale, Calif., and Duane Kennedy of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brother, Bob of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and 10 grandchildren.
      The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice. Palm Mortuary-Jones handled arrangements.
     
     Glen Davis
     
     
Glen Davis, 73, died Oct. 10.
      He was born Nov. 20, 1924, in Las Vegas. An Army veteran of World War II, he was an automobile mechanic and a lifetime resident of Southern Nevada.
      He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Jeffrey; daughters, Deborah Lee and Janet Boyle, all of Las Vegas; brother, LeMoine of Alamo; sister, Leila Moorhead of Washington; and six grandchildren.
      Private services were held. Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary handled arrangements.
     
     Lilly Fulton
     
     
Lilly E. Fulton, 74, died Tuesday.
      She was born Jan. 5, 1924, in Newburyport, Mass. A retired teacher and counselor at Basic High School and an English teacher at Clark County Community College, she was a 25-year resident of Las Vegas, Worthy Matron of the Desert Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, a member of Clark County Retired Teachers Association and a drummer in the Almeh Band with Daughters of the Nile.
      She is survived by her son, Robert Burg of Phoenix; and sisters, Eulia Feutz of Peoria, Ariz., and Patricia Stamnas of Rochester, N.H.
      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. with Eastern Star and Trisagion services at 7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary-Henderson. Services will at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church with burial in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Desert Chapter of Order of Eastern Star, Boulder City.
     
     Virginia Hess
     
     
Virginia Elizabeth Hess, 78, died Wednesday in St. George, Utah.
      She was born Oct. 16, 1919, in California. A change person in a casino, she was a 48-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her daughter, Sue Lancaster of Hurricane, Utah; brothers, Bob Robinson, Jay Robinson and Bill Robinson; sisters, Grace Suglian and Betty Pretzer, all of California; two grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
      Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home with graveside services at 1:30 p.m. in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Kenneth McCourry
     
     
Kenneth Manard McCourry, 67, died Oct. 8.
      He was born April 10, 1931, in Oregon. A retired Army veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War, he was a chef and a six-month resident of Laughlin.
      He is survived by his sons, Richard of Michigan, Ken of South Dakota and Gary of New York; and daughter, Denise Bowers of Michigan.
      Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Hites Funeral Home handled arrangements.
     
     Mary Olson
     
     
Mary B. Olson, 77, died Thursday.
      She was born Dec. 3, 1920, in Great Falls, Mont. A retired secretary for a school district, she was a two-year resident of Henderson and a member of National Association of Education Secretaries.
      She is survived by her husband, Farrel of Henderson; daughters, Shirley Murray, Cynde Pickett, both of Las Vegas, and Cheryl Stebbins of Kalispell, Mont.; brother, Paul Berlinsky of Billings, Mont.; sister, Rose Cummings of Great Falls; and six grandchildren.
      Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. today in Christ the Servant Lutheran Church. The family requests memorial donations be made to the church. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home handled arrangements.
     
     Orin Parkin
     
     
Orin Lamont Parkin, 57, died Tuesday.
      He was born Sept. 21, 1941, in Salt Lake City and was a resident of Henderson.
      He is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Salt Lake City; sons, Michael, Stezen and Eddie; daughters, Jenny Call and Deanna; and two grandchildren.
      Services will be held in Salt Lake City. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home handled arrangements.
     
     Patricia Pushor
     
     
Patricia Ann Pushor, 68, died Wednesday.
      She was born April 6, 1930, in Fargo, N.D., and was a four-year resident of Las Vegas.
      She is survived by her husband, Richard of Las Vegas; sons, Richard of Littleton, Colo., and Scott of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Susan Dickson of Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Samuel Schreiber
     
     
Samuel Schreiber, 92, died Friday.
      He was born Aug. 3, 1906, in Chicago. The owner of a liquor store, he was a three-year resident of Las Vegas.
      He is survived by his daughters, Sheila McCanna of Las Vegas and Irene Reed of Fort Collins, Colo.; son, Fred of Crested Butte, Colo.; brother, Martin of San Diego; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
      Services are private. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society handled arrangements.

Memorial services for John "Jack" Streitenberger Jr., who died Tuesday, were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home.
     
     Virginia Vercruysse
     
     
Virginia Marie Vercruysse, 89, died Thursday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      She was born Aug. 31, 1909, in New York. A retired group supervisor for a pharmaceutical company, she was a three-year resident of Las Vegas, a member of the Bonanza and Henderson senior centers, and was employed at the Needlenook.
      She is survived by her sister, Veronica O'Connor.
      Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. Sunday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home. Services will be at noon Monday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
     
     Royse Warren
     
     
Royse Warren, 68, died Thursday.
      He was born July 1, 1930, in Amarillo, Texas. A Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was an executive in a casino, a 64-year resident of Las Vegas, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Daylite Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite Bodies.
      He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Las Vegas; daughters, Dena Vickers of Paddock Lake, Wis., and Bobbie Medeiros of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.
      Memorial visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary-Jones.
     
     Alta Wikstrom
     
     
Alta Wikstrom, 86, died Thursday.
      She was born Sept. 4, 1912, in Newport, Ark. A retired administrative services person for the school district, she was a 29-year resident of Boulder City and a member of United States Power Squadron and Boulder City Women's Club.
      She is survived by her husband, Holger of Boulder City; son, Leonard of Guilford, Conn.; and two grandchildren.
      The family requests memorial donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice. Palm Mortuary-Henderson handled arrangements.
     
     Edward Woodhall
     
     
Edward Woodhall, 94, died Tuesday in a Las Vegas hospital.
      He was born June 16, 1904, in Liverpool, England. A Merchant Marine veteran, he was an apartment manager, an 11-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
      Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
