Five LV men arrested in biker gang raid

Five Las Vegas men were arrested Tuesday, and two others were being sought in connection with a federal law enforcement sweep that authorities said targeted members of a motorcycle gang.
The raid was performed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and local law enforcement agencies in Southern California and Las Vegas. It netted the arrests of 17 people.
Arrests were made in San Diego, Las Vegas and other parts of Southern California during Tuesday's early morning hours.
Las Vegans arrested were Greg Bunker, 42; Steven Adelemen, 35; David Cooper, 37; Carl Grumblatt, 34; and Joseph Harrison, 36. Charles Mullins, 37, and Eric Anthony, 39, also of Las Vegas were listed as fugitives and were being sought.
Most of the charges filed against the Las Vegas suspects alleged narcotics possession or robbery, burglary, kidnapping, extortion or gang enhancement. The charges were filed in state and not federal jurisdiction.
Ed Verkin, resident special agent-in-charge of the firearms agency's Las Vegas office, declined to comment on what prompted authorities to file the charges. He cited an ongoing investigation.
Agency officials described the Las Vegas suspects as members of a motorcycle gang. John D'Angelo, a special agent in the agency's Los Angeles office, said the leaders of the gang's Sacramento, San Fernando and Corona, Calif., chapters were arrested during the sweep.
